Holy smokes and stitches!
I saw this sampler offered and mentioned, everyone had to have it. Meh. I just didn't see it. The photo was more bits and pieces and motifs to my eye and the sampler itself was not so special. Don't tell my husband, but I was wrong.
Have not heard a thing, which I feel is good. If there was a serious issue causing this I'm sure I would have been notified. My doctor is quite lax, didn't even make a follow up appointment after I told her I can't breathe and feel life draining from my body!! But I had NO episode yesterday and after two weeks of worsening symptoms, that is puzzling but welcome.
And about those 24 cats..... they are in my sister's basement. Several were not found and are now on their own (not local). Makes me sick. Finding homes for that many will be impossible.

Had to smirk a bit... I fell in love with GH 1857 the moment she was released a few years back and got it then so it's already in my stash. Only now do I see she is making the rounds of IG stardom. I won't be getting to her anytime soon since it is getting time for me to turn my attention to spooky stitches - and maybe loops. I say go for it. Glad to hear the spells are lessening a bit...given the fluctuations, it does make magnesium a more likely culprit?? I don't even know what to see about the 24 cats. All I am thinking is how did they end up there?????? And what does her basement look like at this point???? Oh...... ~Robin~
It is ok to be a cross pattern collector!!! Kind of like rug hooking patterns that I will never hook...lol.
Like Robin, I am wondering how 24 cats ended up in the basement and how many litter boxes are there and who is poop scooping several times a day? EEEWWWWWWWW!!!
Happy to hear things are better with your health. This growing old is not for sissies!
Oh, I have this all kitted up, just waiting for me to start stitching it. Am not sure about the blue I got for the roof - the called for - may need to change it. But oh, it is gorgeous!!!! Hope you continue to feel better!!
I remember Carol, from Stitching Dreams once saying never to discount big samplers, as you can always just stitch small parts. I have taken that on board and now I look at big samplers in a different light. I have just bought Regina Haible (Brenda Gervais) so I can stitch the 2 little birds at the bottom and not the whole thing.
It's a gorgeous sampler and I two still waiting from Jeannette Douglas in my stash...and yes you can stitch parts of the sampler.
Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better today.
How do all these kittens ended up in her basement??? Due to the children or is she setting up a kittery?
Take care, Truus from Holland
Oh My Marly: This is a beautiful Sampler, I do hope you stitch it or parts of it.
No news is good news, hopefully you will have an answer soon from the doctor.
How on earth did 24 cats get in her basement/ just curious.
Catherine
Beautiful sampler. I say get it and do the smalls. Gorgeous. 24 cats??? In Carole's basement??? Yikes.
24 cats...in your sister's basement?!?! I have so many questions, thoughts, and especially concerns about how far into the mess you'll get pulled...I'm shutting up on this subject now.
I'd not seen that sampler, it is very pretty. I have to say the cover photo of the pattern booklet doesn't do it justice. I'm not sure I want to know that bit about stitching only parts of large samplers as smalls, my shopping list may have grown again. Buy the patterns. Compared to linen and thread costs, patterns are pretty reasonable.
I hope you are correct that no news from the appointment is good. Also good news that the spells have been much less in the last couple of days.
This is such a great sampler. You should order and then do one or more of the smalls that you like. You don't have to do the whole big sampler. Happy stitching!
That is a rather odd cover photo for that beautiful sampler! I am not much of a sampler stitcher, but that one is a beauty! And so many possibilities with the little motifs. I have many, many charts in my collection that I know I'll never stitch, but I get such joy in just leafing through them and imagining the possibilities :) Yikes! I love cats, myself, but can't imagine 24 in a basement. I hope the situation remedies itself very soon. Good news that today was a good day with no episodes, Marly... let's hope there are more to come! ♥
24 cats in your sister's basement? That is so concerning. How did it happen?
