Thank you all for the birthday wishes!!
The first which I plan to start this weekend is Bernarda Bellon from The Wishing Thorn. Primitive, small, and only three colors, very simple.

The next ones were ordered after Brenda and Laura made me.

Love the colors against dark linen. If anyone can help with a linen color that is a very rich dark brown, please advise! Chestnut has been difficult to find and I would prefer 40 or 46. So many darks look very bluish gray on my monitor.
Living under a rock of distractions I am not very familiar with this designer. Checked her Etsy page (QuaintRoseNeedleArts) and saw this sweet small. She has beautiful bird designs which everyone seems to be stitching now.
Too late to add to my order? We'll see!

This from La D Da has been in my cart for a long while. So cute, 3.5" wide on 40 count. SO CUTE!!

Going to the PCP Tuesday and now think this may be congestive heart failure. My breathing became a little better this morning after yesterday's lasix. But I also need to move my lung CT up for peace of mind, we changed to one year from my usual six months and I don't want to wait until September.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend! Stay cool!!

All of those patterns look really fun. I'm partial to those kitties!! Take care of yourself. Betty
Marly, it looks like you celebrated your birthday in a big way with all the new charts! Good for you! It’s going to be raining here all day today so a good day for stitching! I hope you can get to the bottom of your health issues soon. Enjoy your weekend and have some cake! Cherie in WI
There are a lot of pretty brown colors to choose from on the Kitten stitcher website. I have found that the colors are very close to the colors when purchased. Lots of 40 count to choose from.
What a fun stash enhancement! I think my favorite is the Favoured Feline by Erica Michaels. Can't wait to see what you do with it! I'll think on the brown linen...I know I've seen some beauties (and there may even be a few in my stash) but, right now, the only ones coming to mind are Havanna which is likely to gold for you vs. brown...and Mermaid's Firewood which isn't real dark. Like I said, I'll keep thinking. That's worrisome about the breathing issues. My mum suffered with CHF for many years. Glad you're getting things checked out. ~Robin~
I need to order that one from Quaint Rose Cottage. Seems like I always find something else right after I hit the purchase button. Janice
My belated Happy Birthday and best wishes for the coming year. I've decided I am going to be 52 from now on. I used to say I would be 28, but that just will not float anymore! Your selection of charts is fantastic, where do you find them? Your first chart, a sampler with three colors, love it. Be well, best wishes with the dr.
A late congratulations to Carlie.
Love the charts you have bought and the one with you will start is very pretty. Are you starting with the same colors or are you already changing colors? The pindrum with the cat is also lovely.
Why didn't you get your Birthday party-- you deserve it so much!
Hope your appointment with the doctor is going well.
Take care,Truus from Holland
I love the cat ones! I was going to try and behave this year but I think I must get at least one cat! Sorry you didn't get cake, bummer.
Belated Happy Birthday, Marly. You picked out some very pretty charts. Sorry, I'm of no help on linen colors.
I hope the suspicion of congestive heart failure is wrong. OTOH, at least there'd be a diagnosis/treatment if it is confirmed? No more wondering what's going on. I hope the appointment goes well.
First, sorry I'm late in wishing you a Happy Birthday, Marly! Your new charts look fun! Wish Icould help on the linen, but I'm forever trying to decide which fabric to use, lol. Continued prayers for you!
Can't remember if I wished you a happy birthday...so if I didn't, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
What great charts!!! Looking forward to seeing progress.
Great charts Marly!! The cat ones are fabulous.
