One of my new starts is Quaint Rose Needlearts chart, E. Harris 1876, 46 count linen I spritzed.
Changes already in my What's my Floss journal! I changed the grass and also the willow tree. House and bird colors haven't been chosen as yet. The very bottom section will be left off. Not sure if it contains name or a pattern, but I can't read it.
This has been hanging unfinished for years. I may stitch this again on a higher count of a different color. Lauren's recent rug hooking of this design spurred my desire, but is it enough?
A day of outside work at sis's tomorrow, her grandson is off and will be there to help. I have been having episodes again and need to find a doc interested in diagnosing. I don't believe this is related to Sjogren's.
Having 81 year old birthday brother for ravioli dinner and the fabulous chocolate zucchini bundt cake
Thanks for all the comments about Spot. They are still not transferred to my email as before which was easy to respond to those not no-reply.
Hope you're having a good weekend!

Your spotted horses (shady spot??) finish is fantastic!! Stop already...between you and Lauren I am being so very sorely tempted. Wish I could join you for your brother's b-day dinner....I've been so sorely lack in cooking and baking. Actually, I think the last real dinner I made was, in fact, homemade ravioli...but I'm sure it wasn't as good as yours...and I didn't have chocolate zucchini bundt cake to boot. My kitchen was already a disaster after the pasta and sauce. Like your new start too...don't think I've seen that one before. ~Robin~
The pattern has both "E Harris 1876" (in brown(?)) and a pattern at the bottom. VERY hard to read even with a good photo found on internet. If stitched as is, I'd be changing the colors of either the name/date or the pattern. The sampler is a nice change from the usual alphabets/letters & verse filled ones though - nice!
Bummer on the return of your spells, and still having to work at Carole's, but good that her grandson will be available to help outside. I hope the great-grands are put to work too.
I still love your crazy-eyed horses pouch. The linen color, the finish as a pouch...Yummy! Those eyes give me a giggle every time whether cross stitched or hooked.
Hello marly: Love this design, I too would leave the bottom off, looks like an abstract design on the bottom.
I hope you do not overdue the work outside, please take it easy.
I hope you find out what the heck is going on and find and amazing doctor who will help.
Catherine
Your new sampler is very pretty and I would not stitch the border too or it should be in a lighter color.
There is a lot to see in this sampler with the cat, dog, swan(?),bird, butterfly etcetera.
About having periods again-- have the same problem and the doctor says there is nothing wrong,I only have a fleshy growth in the womb.
Do hope that these are the right words for it. He will operate when I am in pain or too often these periods again. But when I did too much or am carrying some heavy things, this happens to me.
Hope the Birthday party was a succes and you didn't too much in the garden.
Take care,Truus from Holland
