One cat

 This one.

Why did I think this would be a quick project?

Getting closer.  No other project chosen or started because I am so anxious to finish this, no distractions!!

Three felines were not captured, it's over.  They must find water and food, survive on their own as so many do.  I will get a total number this week and arrange altering at the local clinic.  The rescue organization that took the kittens had promised to take several adults at a time, weeks apart.  They changed their mind.

Hope the middle of July weekend wasn't too crabby.

So sorry to read of the three...but that actually is a minimal number given the numbers you were looking at. More concerning is the organization who has reneged on their statement about taking the adults. I so wish there were something I could do to help them find homes. ~Robin~

3 out of 30(?) to escape, while sad, isn't unexpected I guess? For nearly 2 weeks, they've watched their housemates get caught and hauled off to who knows where (from their viewpoint). Stinks that the rescue changed their mind. I'm betting their resources are stretched quite thin, and adoptions of cats/kittens currently in their care aren't happening as fast as hoped.

On a brighter kitty note, Spot is progressing nicely.

I've been thinking about the little kitties. There are so many down here too. Two neighborhoods in particular, are doing their best to gather them up for spay and neuter. It is quite a task and while they many gather some, it is only a fraction of the feral colony. Heartbreaking.

Now your little dotty kitty is looking pretty darn good. Be well, maintain the crab, it is a good coping mechanism, that's what I tell myself!

So sorry to hear about the cat news. There are so many wild kitties everywhere it seems. Just a sad situation. Janice
