She brought five more home last night, there are still four more she hasn't caught. He has delayed bulldozing by a week, not sure he will again, his job is on a schedule. I posted on IG that I may sell one of my samplers to help with their costs. We'll see if any agencies get an opening. Thirty of them.

"She"? The property owner who found them in the rental? And she trying to catch them and bring them to Carole's? And delay of bulldozing...you mean to raze the rental building the cats were in? Guess I'm confused. Nothing new there. Love your new start. I know you explained how you think stitching all the left to right stitches first and then doing the crosses looks better in the end, but that would drive me nutty LOL. But, hey - you do you. I am a little confused-- thought the kittens are not in the basement anymore and 'she' caught some more to bring to Carole and there are now thirty kittens???

The Spot Kitty is adorable. Still reminds me of Spot the Horse by Barrick Samplers. I, too, am confused about the kittens/cats. 30???
It's good that more cats were rescued, but Yikes! on them all being in Carole's basement. I'm not surprised about the lack of help by agencies - they're already overflowing with the spring crop of kittens. They are full here too. Sad that the building owner can't delay much longer, but he's already delayed more than many would have.
30 cats is the total that have come out of the house including the kittens finally taken by an agency? Or is that how many are currently in the basement after the most recent additions? Not that it matters a whole lot once you're past a certain number.
And "she" is Carole's caretaker (Carole's son's GF)?

Just had to mention that I may have to find that pattern! My daughter once rescued a cat and named him Spot!! And that pattern is so cute!
Hoping they find homes for all the cats your sister has at her home. Sounds like my dear, departed mom, who took in every stray cat around.
