Pick a color first.
Still haven't decided what to do next on this project, or just set it aside. House and roof are complete, door may be the gray at bottom with the pink stripes as the original.
I went through Mom's large plastic sewing chest that Carole had, found vintage items I remember using during my high school years of sewing. Sears electric scissors, an odd green magnetic pin holder, perfect fat spool for a stitchery wrap, and very fine elastic thread on bobbins. An A&P needle packet to add to my collection.
Leaving soon for my cardio appointment, not looking forward to seeing the doctors that were treating (not) Carole. So many questions I need answers to, but I doubt I will get them.
Tracy came home yesterday, Sophia still has a fever and they need to take her to urgent care TODAY. Her brother had a fever for five days two weeks ago, no openings with doc. Chris returned to light duty, three employees are out with .... pneumonia. What the hell is happening?
Have a good day, be safe. Be well.

“What the hell is happening?” Seems to be the perfect question these days! Please don’t set your stitching aside, Marly. It’s so pretty and you’ve come this far. I know the door will be perfect! Hope your family can get past whatever it is they caught. And, that sweet Sophia is feeling better soon. Take care, Cherie in WI
Don't put it aside now Silly!! It's too good! Sorry to hear about the continuing illnesses in your circle...hoping everyone gets better soon. Unfortunately, 'tis the season. Fingers crossed for your appt. ~Robin~
Definitely too pretty to set aside. I especially love the look of the roof
Hello Marly: Love the design, I am looking forward to seeing the door finished, love, love the vintage items, so cool.
I hope you get the answers you need and the care, we are lucky to have a clinic in our small town and urgent care 14 miles away, I wish you had the same.
I hope you do not get ill from Sophia or anyone else.
Have a great Blessed day.
Catherine
Yes, what the hell is happening... Don't forget the green door, Marly! Green is Life!
Keep going on your wonderful stitchery. Hoping the illnesses in your family stop soon. Janice
I think I may still have that magnetic pin holder somewhere...though mine was orange...lol!
Hopefully your appointment went well and family members are all on the mend.
Marly don't put your stitching aside, it is so pretty. If you put a red doorknob on the door, perhaps that will look better and not so dull. And also the flowerpot to the right of the house.
Love the vintage items of your Mum -- have some items from my Mum too.
Hope your appointment went well and you got some answers.
Take care and stay save, Truus from Holland
I hope your family members will all get better soon. Love the things you found. Memories <3 Had a doctor (six month) appt. yesterday. Not happy with the visit. Everything seemed to be funny to him. I hope your appointment was/will be okay. Thinking of you. Love your house. You shouldn't quit it. Happy Friday, the 8th if Nov. already.
Nice finds in the sewing basket, especially the A&P needle book! I'm sure you know to test the elastic thread before getting your hopes up on using it on a project. I had elastic from Mom's my stashes that when I went to use, I got lots of snapping and crackling when it was stretched. The stretchy bits got old, brittle, with zero recovery. I've seen those pin holders, except used as paperclip holders.
RSV is making the rounds here, GD's Mom's family tested positive for it a couple of days ago.
I hope the cardiologist appointment went well yesterday.
