That's the year I offered my cardinal finish.
Loved this guy and he left in a giveaway. But the chart? Really? I planned to stitch this oldie but cannot find it anywhere. Doesn't mean it's gone, but for now it is. Enlarging my photo allows me to count the outline stitches which is fine, quite small. Online search for replacement was useless, but I can figure it out since I'll only stitch it once more. Year in place of Merry, Carole's initials by the star.
The other project will be C is for Cat. One of my all time favorites, another very old chart. Trying to find a small piece of 40 is not working out (I won't cut a larger piece) so 36 will do but it won't be as small as I want (3.6" x 4"). I wonder if different sizes and colors could be a fundraiser at shelters.
Glow bird is here.
Enjoy your weekend.

Those are lovely projects. I find both of them wonderfully appealing.
That picture of glow bird is stunning also; the rare bird, the trees, the snow-- I would buy it as a print or a greeting card!
I can’t get over how stunning that cardinal is. I’m so glad it’s still visiting. It has to be a message from Carole! I wish I could help you with the chart. It’s the perfect project to remember this special bird. Cherie in WI
Perfect idea for the cardinal pillow. I did a little tuck, too, after my mom passed away and I'm glad I did. It brings a small measure of comfort somehow. Love the kitty pillows and I bet they'd be wonderful fund raisers. Even raffling off the chance to win a customized version. Happy Solstice...I hope you find more light in each coming day. ~Robin~
Wynter can be dark and deep...but somehow comforting, too. That's why there are bright red berries and Glow Bird...
Both are sweet stitches. I'd love to stitch one of those cats. Sometimes when I stop looking for things they find me.
Merry Christmas Marly and family: I love the Cardinal Bird design, you are lucky if you can read the chart from a photo of a finished design.
The Cat designs are adorable, thank-you for sharing the photo of the cardinal in the tree, so very pretty.

Oh I remember that cardinal piece. So cute. The kitty ones are very pretty too. One morning Fletch counted 6 male cardinals by our sunflower feeder!! Merry Christmas Marly. I hope you are feeling better.
Both are cute projects. Good that you can recreate them from a photo. Not that I get much stitched, I never know what to do with charts I've stitched.
Give away? What if I want to stitch it again, as unlikely as that is.
File away? I have so many other charts and patterns not yet stitched, why add to the clutter.
I'm glad Glow Bird is still around to brighten your day.
Merry Christmas, Marly, to you and your husband. Cherie in WI
