We haven't seen the first one with the white back feathers again. Trying to show the comparison with other cardinals, finally caught them in the same photo.
That bird is just amazing...and I love the name you've given him. I can only imagine the delight when you spot him...kind of like when I spy one of my albino deer. I know that some cardinals can be orange due to diet/genetics or enzyme deficiencies, but this one seems to be completely lacking any sign of the black mask as well...and it doesn't look like it's a juvenile. Remarkable. Happy Sunday my friend. ~Robin~
Marly, I was just wondering this morning if you were still seeing him. He is so beautiful and if I lived closer, I’d be right over to see him for myself! Enjoy his every visit! Cherie in WI
The bird is gorgeous and I still think it is a message from Carole to say to you she is okay by now and send you her love and greetings. Take care,Truus from Holland
Glow Bird is a suitable name for it. So pretty/handsome. The other is probably still around, maybe at the neighbor's feeders. Hope your eye continues to heal well & your knee gets back to the pre-fall condition, and Chris is improving.

I love seeing cardinals in the winter time. Such a bright sign of nature when all else is grey.
WOW! Just beautiful.

Amazing. We do not have cardinals here in Germany. May be he gives you a sign.
Thanks for sharing with us.

What a beautiful cardinal and thank you for sharing the side by side with the regular variety!
Lovely photos and post. Wish we saw those out here in LALA land.
