Probability of minor surgery for me this year.
Carpal tunnel for sure, cubital tunnel is looming. It's that feeling of hitting your "crazy bone" that radiates to the finger tips but it takes hours to subside. My friend had the carpal done in Pittsburgh, local numbing, no surgical ward, fifteen minutes and you go back home. No therapy, no sling, boom. I have no intention to proceed with knee replacement and am looking for another doctor. With the hospital closing next week, appointments for patients transferring to other local doctors will really cause a bottleneck.
Stitching interest is slowly returning, floss tube is helping with that. Not much work on the cat, 40 count. A second will be done on 46 count cream linen, reversed position. This one is 4"wide and outline is black, not brown.
Happy mail ... this booklet and I am sorry I didn't Jingle to get her blue santa. Quality of chart and paper is unmatched. Next year, blue.
The only time I drink tea is when ill with a cold. Honey and sweetener need to be loaded in. Davidson's Chai is my favorite, this is Christmas blend. I thought I had enough health issues to complain about, but ....
Thank goodness Christmas is over.
Hope yours was what you hoped for.
Happy New Year folks.

Well I love the cat and can barely do 36 let alone 40-46 so you're amazing. Sorry about the cold and other "stuff". Thanks for the tea recommend. Happy New Year!!
Wow...things have come a long way as far as carpal tunnel goes. I had both hands done many, many, years ago (not at the same time) and it was somewhat traumatic...at least enough so that they haven't been able to talk me into doing it again as they say since it only lasts so long. Hope it's as smooth as your friend's - and you don't have too many issues getting it taken care of. Your kitty is looking sweet and I fell in love with green coat Santa too although I haven't succumbed and purchased him. Hope you kick the cold soon. Not even that can make me drink tea LOL. ~Robin~
Sorry to hear about the upcoming surgery. Wishing you the best - speedy and non discomfort. Love your cat. I have not stitched or knit in over a week.
Oh your kitty is looking great! Wow! The carpal tunnel surgery sounds so different nowadays. I hope it goes perfectly smooth.
Hope the surgery will going well when you found the right hospital and the healing will go well.
Your kitty is a good start again and will be lovely is the other was.
Take care and a healthy, blessed and creative New Year for you and Mark.🙏👼🏻🍀
Lots of love, Truus from Holland
Hope your upcoming surgery goes well. Teresa Kogut creates the best Santa's. Janice
The kitty is looking good, Marly. I hope the upcoming surgery goes smoothly and gives you relief. Thinking of you.
That would be amazing to have the carpal tunnel surgery done so easily!!!
Oh that Santa. Is it a Teresa Kogut? Too stinkin' sweet.
Happy, happy New Year. May 2025 be a much better year for you in many ways.
xoxo
I'm glad to see your stitching urge is returning. So much going on for you, I wish you the best. When I heard the hospital was closing, I thought of you wondering if you used that one. It's a stinker of a situation, but going on in every market. Hope it all works out for you. Best wishes for the New Year. You deserve a smooth sail!
I don’t know exactly where you’re located, but I had had surgery done at an outpatient facility in Harmarville, PA, by Dr. Steven Kann. Two trigger fingers and my carpal tunnel. Quick, easy surgeries and fast recovery. I can stitch and knit without any pain now.
Hello Marly: I hope that you are able to find a doctor close by that is not willing to close their doors, it is a sad day when a healthcare facility closes. maybe from poor management. Love the Green Coat Santa, I cannot believe that carpel tunnel surgery is so easy now a days. I am like you drinking tea only when not feeling well.
Love the cat design, such a sweet pattern.

Hope you get some relief with the surgery, Marly! That pain sounds awful... If we can be of any help at this end (if you do end up going to a doctor in Pittsburgh), please, please, know you can call on me. Love that Santa book so much--my middle son got it for me for Christmas. I don't know which Santa to start first!
