Routine letters

You know.  The standard outline or shape of the alphabet letters stitched in the majority of samplers.  Basic.  No need to check the chart except for spacing between them.  That's what I should be working on, especially with 46 count.

Still not able to focus ... concentrate .... pay attention!  Choosing to stitch the bottom half of this previously stitched sampler with dmc 3831 on 46 may cause a match to be lit.  In three letters, six errors to frog.

I will try again this evening before deciding.

Sunny and warmer today, Ollie takes advantage of the sun heating the dark wood siding.

Be well.  Stay safe.

The calm before the storm...oh my. Next week we have a couple frigid days but the sun today is wonderful. I am loving the longer evenings, too ;-)

Hi, how are you ? I miss getting your "follow it" in my e-mail. I've decided I do NOT like winter at all. Very cold next week. Thinking of you !

I hate stitching spells like that. I know your smooth flow will return eventually. Getting frigid(er?) here starting tomorrow... Our highs will be in negative digits and that is not factoring in windchills. Not a good time for one's furnace to be on the fritz...and not being able to get the part until next week. I might be inviting you to light that match of yours here. ;-) ~Robin~

Amazes me that you use 46 count. I have difficulty with 40 using my magnification!! I have old eyes, for sure.

Empathy for your stitching snafus. Ollie has the right idea.

That is a pretty lettering, bummer on the errors. But 46 count?! You eyes are better than mine! Ollie looks like he's quite loving the warm sunshine while he can.
@Robin - what lousy timing on the furnace and even-colder weather coming! Not that there's ever a good time.

Hello Marly: I am not a fan of alphabets but have done a few, so sorry you have had to rip out letters, I hope it stays warm where you are here it is a whopping 3 above zero.
Ollie is so sweet looing.

Sorry about the lack of focus/concentration and the missing up of the letters! Stay warm, Marly!

I love that picture of your orange cat. It looks like a painting by one of the Campanellis.

I’m constantly losing my place on a chart and end up counting and recounting more times than I get to stitch. Miss Faye is really needy since she was spade on Monday. She hates wearing the collar and knows as long as she’s in my lap, I’ll take it off of her. Again, cuts into my stitchy progress.

Olie did the right thing enjoying the sunshine! It's cold here and mist surrounding the house for almost a week with very cold weather just below 0.
If you will use another count of fabric which is more visible to your eyes, you will not have so many frogs to make,I think. Love the alphabet's sampler.
Take care,Truus from Holland
