This new finish is from Kathy Barrick, I don't see a date on the chart but it's probably old. I left off the date and initials, rarely do I add those.
Changed the green and the house color, on 46 count over two.
We've always had loads of cardinals, the majority appear during very cold temps or snow. They were absent the day after the last photos. Today there is only about three dozen, the gathering here is behind the suet cakes, waiting their turn. The few others are on the bird feeder.

Many of you seem to enjoy these photos so I took them today again. They appeared right before the fine snow started falling. I think that black spot is the Towhee.

Love the photos of your cardinals! We don't get them here (Pacific northwest) but I remember seeing them when I was visiting family in Philadelphia. Good memories, and beautiful birds!

Oooo....I like this design. I'm a Kathy Barrick fan but don't recall seeing this one before. But those birds...those glorious birds!!! I thought I was blessed many years ago when perhaps a dozen graced us with their colorful beauty. Never have I seen that many in one place. ~Robin~

I so love the cardinals. I had one in a tree out back the other day. Wish more came around. Do you use a magnifier when cross stitching? If so could you recommend one. I cannot see past 36 ct with these old eyes of mine any longer. Janice
