Back to the Parlour

Finishing the previous start, deciding whether to add my initials or follow the chart.  No other alphabet offered but it shouldn't be too difficult to chart mine in this style.

I added color to the diamond shape in the center of the sprigs.

The right side of the design is charted one stitch longer than the left.  I started this before I received the chart but noticed that one side was longer, I chose to make the same.  This caused the 0 to touch the flower, but it appears to do the same on one of the cover's finishes.  Will I move the 90?  Doubtful.

There is a green spot on the linen which wasn't noticed, will be very close to the edge when sewn.  I would like to use brown leather for the sides, drum finish.  Will not be easy unless I find a container to wrap.

Back home from mammography, nerve testing on right arm in an hour.

Have a good one!

WOW! I don't even remember seeing a post about you starting this...and you are already done. Beautiful, soft colors.
The older we get, the more medical appointments we have. I went to the eye doctor today. My vision has gotten much blurrier in the last few weeks. Thankfully it is the worsening of the cataract, but surgery has already been scheduled for mid June. UGH! Just glad there were no other issues.

This is so very beautiful! I just love that linen (even with the green spot) and your colors. Nah, I wouldn't move the 90 either. Happy end of March?

When did you start this one. It is on my bucket list to purchase. Love the linen you chose and I would keep the 90 too. Janice

What a beauty, Marly! I would have had to make the sides the same size as well. Hope all went well at the doctor's with the mammogram and the nerve testing.

Hope the nerves are well and they don't hurt too much.
It's a beauty and I also would not change the 0.
In previous time you changed the color of the fabric with stamp inks-- perhaps you can do this with the green spot too.
Take care, Truus from Holland
