Bah humbug

Never again on 40 count.  Or black thread.

Stitches too tiny for the whipstitch closing, thread too dark to see those tiny suckers.   The beads were the only easy part.

Just not happy with my choices and may try another on a larger weave.  Sometime.

Watermelon is the only fruit that soothes my dry mouth.  I eat many during summer, prefer a crisp texture.  If it's not, into the Ninja smoothie maker for such a refreshing drink.  (Kerosene is the lamp base, not the real thing.) I'm going to do this with cantaloupe too.  My sister nearly choked to death on a piece of it, liquid is better.

I'm waiting for the tight chest caused by moving an 80# pot to subside.  If it doesn't, I need to make sure my underwear is clean.  Do mothers still tell their kids that when leaving the house?  It is better than it was, guess I should stick to painting.

Happy Mother's Day!!

Those watermelon and cantaloupe drinks sound so refreshing and healthy to boot. Hope it eases your dry mouth condition.
You are sometimes disappointed, but your projects always shine and look accomplished. Sorry your great effort resulted in pain..
but can see you toting and lifting again to get things done.... be
kind to yourself and go easy.... A very blessed Mothers' Day.

Sorry it was such a frustrating finish...but it sure looks great! Please don't give up...if YOU give up, I surely won't attempt it. Watermelon juice is yummy - and actually a popular Mexican drink. Sticky as heck though. (Why the heck are you lifting 80# planters? Why the heck do you HAVE an 80# planter??????)

I think it is a sweet finish. Ditto what Robin said on the planter.

I'm trying to think what planters you have outside(?) that's 80 pounds. I hope you had help with it, but if you're waiting for tight chest to pass, I'm guessing not. Watermelon whizzed up in a blender sounds good, I'll try to keep that in mind when I'm out weeding this summer. Sometimes plain water just doesn't cut it, and pop is even worse. Your little scissor fob is sweet, sorry it was such a PITA to do.
