Am I the only one that can't seem to get tomato skins down?
How 'bout those that can't handle the fuzz of the peach?
Here 'ya go.
OXO has a peeler that is amazing. This one for thin skins removes them like a hot knife through butter. Smoooooth, slick, and only the skin.
Can also cause a real hurt and lots of blood so caution is needed. I bought several OXO after switching brands and couldn't be more pleased. Found online and my local kitchen shop.
No stitching last night or today (so far). Fingers are numb again and lasting a long while. This also happens from Raynaud's. When the circulation returns, it hurts! Photo was taken at doc office and it is a really bad photo on my laptop. My fingers to first joint and some to second are pure white.
That ring was made by hubs for Carole from a piece of stainless steel pipe. She wore it on her thumb.
Enjoy your holiday.

Oh Marly: I am so sorry you are having this problem, however that device looks something like my dermatologist used to scrap the bump on my hand to test for cancer. Ouch.

Ouch on the fingers.... Hope they recover soon. I don't skin tomatoes except when canning them and then the skins peel pretty much effortlessly once they're blanched.
Ouch! So sorry that your fingers are so bad.
The peeler for your tomatoes is looking at the one I am using for peeling my potatoes.
Was a few days away for holiday and there was no WiFi, so have to read a lot of e-mails...🤭
Take care, Truus from Holland
Thanks for the info on the peeler. I am going to look for one the next time I get to the store. Sorry to hear that you are dealing with numb fingers.
