Yep. I did it.
Pulled the threads, grabbed a few pieces of linen, quick glance and the color was chosen.
No debating, testing, floss changing. Picked the linens faster than it takes me to get out of my chair and balance. Surprised and actually, excited. For the projects .... balancing is not there yet.
This is the start of that charted I worked. Not the typical red or blue house, this is olive, rust, tan.
And as I tire of stitching a house, I am opening one of these pouches and starting another. Today.
I have three large projects started long ago that I lost interest in. Linen color, thread color, anxiety over size, or all of these caused a shutdown. But this new batch contains smaller projects, and only one I plan to rechart.
We'll see how this goes, but I'm feeling pretty good about having options.
Have a great day!

It’s good to have a stash, Marly! Cherie in WI
Nice to have smaller options that you can just grab when the urge hits!
Greetings Marly: Nice start on the new design, love the project bags.

Hello, I love reading your blog. Thank you. I rarely respond, as I presume most don’t care. I’d like to start by saying thank you for sharing. I really try to stay off my iPad but some people I have to check and see what is going on. You are one of those. 😊. Those bags look great! What brand are they? Also, which colors of tan, rust and olive are you using for your house? They sound, and what little we see, look good together. Thank you for being you! Bobbi
Looking forward to seeing all of these projects!
Love the colors... and yay for the quick choices. You're so much more organized...and "symmetrical" than I am.
