A few things ... my brother has covid, over a week, baby steps. He is out of bed and very weak, but made it to Urgent Care today. Too late for paxlovid.

And now. I will admit after several weeks that I am catching fleeting images in peripheral vision. VERY quick. Not discernible but feel like it is a person. Tonight, sitting in my chair facing this view, I saw a the distinct shape of a grown man moving down the wall exiting to the window. Black shadow, tall, quick. Holy shit. Dark outside, no window across from the sofa, nothing to cast a shadow, NOTHING. It was not on the wall, just in the reflection. Old wives tales of deceased family appearing because soon they will come for you, is just a wives tale. RIGHT?!?!?
Another doc tomorrow, not a big deal, just to order blood tests.

Glad you brother is on the slow mend. I *like* that eagle pattern - yes, it's been added to my wish list. Not that I'd get it done by next July at the rate I'm stitching.
I've been seeing shadows/movement out the corner of my eyes for years...more like decades. Not human form though. So by your old wives tale (which I've never heard of before), I should have been dead long ago. Since this is new, I'm wondering about something new cropping up with your eyes. Or if it *is* relatives stopping by, maybe they are worried about the memories of Carole's last days weighing so heavy on you?
I sent you an email on Nov. 2nd about a pattern in your "for sale" tab. I'm wondering if it went astray totally or to your spam folder?

Never heard of that. What light/magnifier do you use. Older I get the more help I need. Your stitching is lovely
....an old wives tale perhaps...and perhaps it's retinal vein occlusion - get it checked out asap. I had thought I was seeing shadow figures like that for months....and then got the news it wasn't shadow figures, but CRVO. :-( (Sending healing thoughts for your brother...and wow on that pattern....)

Do you use a medicine for protecting your stomac?? I was using Omeprazol in high doses and did see things/persons that was not there. Once it was like I was watching the telly and saw a whole story-- it was in the evening when I went to bed -- the room was dark,but I saw a telly with a movy. Now I still using Omeprazol, but in a lower dosis and when I am tired it sometimes happens again that I see someone or my kitty who went over the rainbow in April.
