Hello people. Where are you? In the midst of the gripping cold? We had fairly mild temps today and it's still raining, but they closed all the schools for tomorrow just in case. I get so upset about all the homeless cats and dogs that are freezing to death. The recent commercials about homeless and abused animals has me running for the remote to mute. St. Jude's new ad is so heartbreaking too. They do such miraculous work for children and instead of sending flowers to funerals, I donate in memory. As I'm typing close to midnight, watching Frazier, the commercial just came on again. Why do children have to fight for their lives?
OK stop. I get maudlin this late at night.

I fell so in love with your galvanized drawer set that I went to Hobby Lobby the other day and have one on its way here as I type. Yay! When I was looking for it I also found some wire baskets I have been looking for for a while now so thanks so much for showing us your find. Our weather here is still pretty mild and no snow so far so we are pretty lucky this year.Hopefully all the homeless animals have found some kind of shelter and are snuggled down. Like what I see of the horse.
Those commercials devastate me too. The horse looks great!
What are your pans for the drawer set, I don't imagine you will leave it as is? I think it would look great with a little rust on it.
Love the horse.

The horse looks great. There is so much sadness in this world of ours , it just seems the same each year .
It is currently -15º with -45º windchill here. My mom has not seen her feral girl cat for half a week.
That little horse makes me smile. =)
The horse looks good, Marly! Stay warm and be safe if you have to go out!

Ahem. I am not looking for enabling. ROTFL! Oh dear. I might have to go look for a coupon and buy buy buy! I do love that drawer piece. Love how your horse is looking too. Good solution to your problem! Love that two horses design. On my to-stitch list. It's even sitting in my basket. Sigh. Too cold. Way too cold. (Warm today with rain, like you.)
The animals break my heart! Not your horsie, though. ;)
I do love that little chest, but Hobby Lobby is a no-no. :(
I can't watch those commercials at all. I have also been thinking of the homeless people in places like Chicago. We are very temperate here but when it gets cold and I hop into my warm bed, I think of the people I see living under the bridges in Seattle.
I really like your 'Horses' ... hope you are happy with your latest solution. I'm looking foward to more progress pics on this project!
It is too too cold ... I worry and get very anxious when it gets cold like this. Thankfully it is only to last for the next 24-36 hours in our little neck of the woods.
Stay warm and safe!
I can't watch those commercials. Glad you found a solution to the horse - I love it! Love the galvanized chest! I have people adding me to their circles in Google plus, but have no idea what one really is or what you do once you are in one. :)
You know, I like that little chest, too, but I don't know why. It isn't like me at all! Good thing I can't afford it, even with a coupon.
The horse looks great and I like how you solved the problem.
Those commercials always get to me as well. There are several local kids going through cancer treatments from St. Jude right now. It's just so sad.
