Hi all. Just a quick post to show Hannah completed. Since my tablet slipped out of the unzipped makeshift case, hit the hardwood floor and slid a few feet, making a pouch for it now using Hannah is moot. And saying I found a cabinet maker may be also.

So here's flat Hannah..
.jpg)
and sack Hannah.
Who knows what her final resting pose will be. She heard from the others that there is no such thing as FINAL in this house, nor rest. You probably think it's weird to hang the sampler sideways but it's different and my other sack needs someone to hang with. I think with some feathers and a few gourds, they would make a great primitive display from a peg, or rusty baling hook. I've decided to move all the samplers to one wall in the new room whenever the chair rail is up and the painting is done. Ed hasn't returned my calls.
The sun is out and it's finally warming here.
Enjoy your day and thanks for visiting!

OMG your life is a struggle every time you turn around. Keep your sense of humor, you need it.
I LoVe the cupboard that you have. I sure hope he can mimmic it and build you another. Its Gorgeous!
I LoVe Hannah both ways. :)You have a lot going on right now, but I do hope your kitchen comes along.
We had sun but it has just disappeared and the "d" rain clouds are moving in fast.
I did make it to the garden centre for pansy 's though and they are in pots :) Adds some much needed color to the snow:)
Hugs..Marg
I love your 'flat' Hannah! :) And ooh your cupboard is lovely.. all your stitching is beautiful just leaves me with my mouth open in awe every time I come look at your blog. Thank you for sharing your lovely work :)
The cabinet is wonderful and I hope you can find someone to make it!
Best wishes for your sister and brother.
Oh, my! Things happen in threes, so I think you're past the worst of it. Sorry for all the bad news. The sampler is lovely.
I am praying for both of your siblings. And you.♥
I like the name flat Hannah, but I really love the look of Hannah haning sideways you should do it!! Well what kind of cabinet maker can't wing it? The guy that built my cabinet in the bathroom did it from a picture of one half and a drawing of the other half with some vauge you know what I mean. Yes yours are a little more detailed, but really!
I'm sorry you're having family health issues and hope everything turns out well very soon!
Your stitching is lovely, as always. That cabinet is beautiful and I'm sure someone will be able to do it! Good luck on everything!
I want to echo what Vickie said Praying things will get better for all of you. I also think that cabinet maker is fully capable of making the cabinets you want, he just doesn't want to do it. Frustrating!I like flat Hannah too.
I LOVE Hannah hanging sideways, especially with the feathers!!! Totally special, creative and YOU!!
Kathy

You are all in my prayers

Prayers for your sister and brother.... so sorry to hear that they are not feeling well again. Strength for you with everything going on.....
The cabinet is just wonderful and I hope your guy can figure out how to make you one.... Love Hannah... I think she looks great hanging sideways and in that grouping! Very clever!
I really love Hannah displayed with the feathers, Marly. I'm so sorry to hear that your brother and sister are both having more health issues. You must hate to answer your phone these days... thinking of all of you!
I'm sorry to read about your siblings health issues...!
The sampler turned out great. What about your tablet? Did it survive the fall?
I love the picture of your cupboard idea.
Best wishes to you and your siblings!
I am so sorry to hear about your family problems. I do wish them all well. I love that cabinet. If I could afford it, I would fly David T. Smith out here to do a kitchen for me. Have you seen his work? I love the way you display your samplers. On the side looks good to me.
I love that display -- it's wonderful! So sorry about your sister and brother and all the health issues. It really puts things in perspective though, doesn't it?
Hannah's simplistic design is charming. LUV it.
Hope your family does well ... Praying for all with Peace and Blessings,
Barb
No, the kitchen doesn't matter when someone you love is not well. Will keep praying for you and your family and for rest for the weary.
I like your Hannah and she will be beautiful anyway you decide to use her.
Blessings,
Charlotte

I love Hannah, hanging sideways! Good luck with all the issues you have going on. It's always something....
Flat Hannah is lovely. I know your pain..trying to get contractors. Can they really be that busy that they never return a call or need more business.
Love the cupboard..hope you can find someone to make it for you.
Prayers for your sister and brother.

Hope things improve for you and yours. If you decide to buy a case, check out the neoprene cases made by Built NY; I've had mine for a few years. They are carried in several places online, and worth shopping around because of the price differences. I especially like the really bright floral ones because they're easier to see when I forget where I set it down...
Love the kitchen cabinet, Marly! Hope that works out for you ... it would be fabulous!
Miss Hannah is delightful and I'm sure you will find the perfect finish for her as you always do!
Prayers and good thoughts for both your brother and sister's good health and peace for you.
Take care...
So very sorry to hear about your brother & sister. They are in my prayers. You too!
That's a beautiful cabinet idea, I sure hope you can find the right kind of help with your kitchen. Sending prayers your way for your family.
That cabinet is gorgeous and I hope you can get it all figured out just right.
I am praying for you and your family. When it rains, it pours, but God always, always sends a rainbow!
You are right. In light of all that is going on with your family the cabinets don't matter as much. Will be praying for healing and for a capable cabinet maker.
Keeping you and your family in my thoughts. Breathe!
Hannah is so sweet.
