The great Santa giveaway

Well not really.  Just ordinary charts I have no use for.  Why not sell them on Ebay?  Too much trouble, too little benefit, and stitchers are a sharing group.
I am back to being extremely anxious and having a hard time with it.  Is it my gut's premonition, being overly sensitive, menomania, afraid of the answers, or not having answers?  My husband will be off work next week and I hope to settle down because he will try to reason with me and well... he's a man.  Need I say more?  I hear my sister crying on the phone about not being able to do anything, and how she desperately wants to hold 20 year old Tippy as she did every day but can't.  Her chest is very painful and she is not allowed to use her left arm or lift more than 10# for another 4 weeks.  Tippy is a very big boy and she came home from the hospital to find him failing.  He was taken care of by family but started slipping away when she did.  He won't last much longer and is comfortable, her son came over to lay him on her lap yesterday and he purred so loudly it was heartbreaking.  He was always at her side or on her and I think he will let go now.  When I pick her up for the doc today, I will be so emotional that I will upset her even more.  Her son will come over to stay with her when we get back and let her hold Tippy.  I just can't stop crying and can't stay.  Why can't I have a good cry and end it?  No.  It just continues.  I had a mammogram yesterday and she thought I was crying because she was hurting me.  It's embarrassing!!  I will be a blubbering fool in the doc office with her.  OK.  Enough.  On to the next batches.
I already drew a name for the set of 12 and it is KimM.  I will email her as soon as I get the mascara out of my burning eyes.  If you like stitching Santa, there will be a few more giveaways.  Since I'm not of sound mind right now I will list over the weekend.

This will be offer #1

Offer #2

Offer #3

I have PS cards 1989-2001 I will probably list as a set on EBay but haven't decided.
As I'm posting this I'm thinking I should mix the cards instead of all one designer.  What do you think?  Mix them up or keep by designer?
If all goes well I will start the offer Sunday and do a post with details for entries then.  Right now I need a few aspirins and another tube of waterproof mascara.
Enjoy the weekend ~ stay safe.

Thanks for listening to me whine.

Life just doesn't seem fair some times. Your sister is lucky to have you and caring family in her life.

You are both in my thoughts and prayers.

I think it is wonderful that your sister has a son who was able to come to her house to help her hold her ailing feline companion. :)

You're not required to judge your crying. It's okay to trust that your body's just "flushing it out". Stay hydrated, perhaps? Otherwise, no rules or limits!

Some great charts here; I saw that PS Santa with the wildlife and basket last year and so wanted to stitch him: the rabbit is so sweet!

Oh Marly I am so sorry that so many things are happening all at once! Know that you and your sister are in my prayers. I would be crying all the time too. Don't feel bad about crying. It is a release you need. Just let the tears flow!

So kind of you to think of other stitchers as you go through all this. I like them grouped by designer but your choice. I do like offer 3 lol. Take care and know we are praying!

Ms Marly, I love to read your blog and I thank you for your pears. Your family and you have been through so much, they are so lucky to have you taking care of them and the furr-babies. I lost my precious kitty in February and I still cry everyday, anywhere. Please do not apologize for tears.
They are messengers of love. My prayers to you, your sister and her beloved kitties.

I know when I had been on steroids my emotions went wacky. Could be after effects for you too ... just a thought. No need to enter me for the Santa's. Have quite a few myself. A lovely win for someone though!

Marly, you can cry all you want to. The situation that both you and your sister are in is horrendous.. It's wonderful that Carole has a son who is so thoughtful and helpful..
It's the waiting and not knowing in any situation that makes it harder..
I would love to be considered for selection #2.. I would really like to stitch the patriotic Santas as well as the others..
I'm so glad your husband will be home with you next week.. You need his company, advice and shoulders..
Saying prayers.

You can't bottle it up or it will uncork itself when you least expect it.

Crying is okay. As much as your sister is counting on you, you must think of yourself too. I would like to be included in the drawing.

I'm so worry Marly. Oh how I hope there was something someone could do to help. I can certainly understand why you cannot stop crying. Feeling helpless and scared can really bring on heart break. Thinking of you. Sandra

Marly, the crying could be from menopause, I still have to be careful what I talk about or I will start crying and you are so right, it can be embarassing. When you combine that with all the stress you have in your life right now it isn't any wonder you are feeling like you do.Deep breaths and lots of them! Praying things will get better for you.

Hoping your sister and her cat recover soon. Keeping them and you in my prayers.

I love option 3. I remember the Santas you did last year and I'd love to do something similiar.

There must be a reason why we cry when we are upset, it's nature's way - even though it makes you feel like chewed string afterwards.

Sending good vibes to you and your sister at this tough time. xx

I'm so glad that your husband will have some more time to care for you.
Your family remains in my prayers.
{hugs} SF
P.S. I don't think you can go wrong with whatever way you package your offerings, as you posted they all seem wonderful. I've never seen the patriotic Santas before - they are great! They remind me that I live in the boonies as far as stitching goes because the nearest stitch shop is an hour away from me!

I know you are past this now but I wanted to say something. Please tell your sister I am truly sorry for the loss of her cats. I can't imagine 2 in one week and while being sick on top of that. I have had many cats. I am an amateur cat whisperer...I volunteer when my bad back allows me. I socialize cats that need it before adoption. I have lost 2 cats in the past 10 years and I have one right now that is living on borrowed time. I see her getting slower. I know eventually we will loose her and it would more then likely be sooner then latter...although I hope not. Please tell your sister when she is feeling better and up to it to go look for another cat. She cannot replace the ones she lost but she can save a cat from a cage. If she is not up to a kitten older cats (mostly over the age of 4) have a very hard time finding homes. And black cats also. Give your sister a hug for me please...and tell her I understand how she feels. She doesn't know me but at least she will know there is someone out here that understands how she feels.
