Hiya. Another weekend already. I lost two weeks to being fogged up on meds and can't believe the date. Do you feel the year is ending way too quickly? I hope winter goes as fast.

Her Lord's Prayer is not complete, words carry to the next line, rows touch, a little confusing to stitch, but hides a multitude of errors. She's different and the house is really what drew me to the design. But she kind of reflects many of my days. The alphabet starts out uniform and neat (the first hours of my day), then a squirrely line ends that and letters become random and uneven like my schedule. The bright colors represent the hot flashes and their slant shows I'm going off-balance. Then all hell breaks loose and my words run together, bumping into one another, sentences aren't completed, and I lose all direction. Hopefully I will finish her soon because I saw a few Christmas designs that I would like to work on and plan to order this weekend.
Have a safe and enjoyable weekend!
Thanks for visiting.

Morning Marly, love the house, your work is wonderful. Blessings Francine.
Your stitching is beautiful and I LOVE your description of the lettering!!! You are too funny!
Very interesting reflection of yourself in this piece. Hehehe. But we do so enjoy your REALness! :) can't wait to see your house.
What a great house! Can't wait to see yours.
What an unconventional piece! I love visiting your blog (although I don't often comment) because your work and your words are down to earth. You are a brave stitcher. I'm not sure I could pull off the words on this one.
Happy you seem to be feeling better.
Great piece Marly - love the colors and wonkiness of it all. And especially love the way you describe how it matches you -- I'm sure there are many of us who can and do relate to that. Glad you seem to be feeling better...my husband just told me there is snow at the OH/PA line a little North of P'burgh -- hope it is not impacting you, but if it is, a perfect day for stitching, napping and some dark chocolate!
Thoroughly enjoyed your post this AM! I like the wonkiness of the letter in your sampler.
Enjoy your weekend and continue on the road to being fog-free.

Love what you've done so far, love the reference to you day. I think we all have days like that, thank God not every day though.
I really, REALLY like how this project is turning out!
Hope you are feeling better! Lovely stitching!
She's a pretty one! I don't know about you, but I really hate the overdyeds that have this huge distinction with two colors in them. One part one color, the rest the other color. I mean yuck. lol! That's just me though. It seems most people love overdyeds. I don't. I don't like them in yarn either. Although I buy them anyway. Makes sense, huh?
Love your stitching Marly! Samplers with the Lord's Prayer are my fave and I don't think I have seen this one before. Does the verse continue on the bottom? Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
You are such a clever woman--it was very interesting how you likened the way the original stitcher planned the piece to the way you stitch! Ha! Yes, time sure flies! Hugs!
oooo, I can't wait to see how your house turns out! Love the comparison between her stitching and your days!!!!
