Hey. How you doing? I was wrong when I thought we were going to miss the snowstorm. Not as bad as other areas for sure, but still enough to create a problem. If you're in it, stay safe and warm. When I was young, we didn't have school closings unless we got two feet of snow. In my area today, two inches and the doors are shut. We didn't have buses either.

Carole heard from the Clinic and her surgery date is not until 2/25. The surgeon has changed also from the TAVR procedure guy to the open heart cardiothoracic woman. All appointments scheduled have been canceled since she saw this surgeon while there. So unless the CHF takes over again, we are clear until the 25th. Now I can schedule my procedures around her.
These cats are still in here and driving me nuts. They play, but get antsy and jump the barrier. All I see is a tail whizzing by. I catnipped them to calm them down and well.... you get the idea.
Thanks for visiting.
Stay safe.

I am still praying for Carole daily.
Oh my! Just look at Missy!
Hope you stay in the clear - for your sister and the weather!! I'm ready to sell my cat to the gypsies - what a pest he has been lately!!
Catnip calms your cats? It made our's absolutely crazy, and we think he's still having flashbacks to this day!! Love the way your Abe is looking.... I HATE when I am off by a stitch or two and can't find the problem... it happens at least once on every project, I do believe!! Stay safe and warm... I am in NY in the line of fire!!
I love the pic of the cat on the chair. Catnip doesn't calm any of our cats, it makes them crazy, playful. Hope you don't get hit with too much snow.
The fabric you have chosen with the berries is fabulous. Stay warm ;)
Catsnip makes my cats playful and crazy!!!
Hope you are save for the snowstorm.

Marly, I'm in love with the strawberry fabric choices for your wooden heart box. Both are perfect, but I do agree the lighter one plays on the wood tone so well.
I'm also in love with your cat!
I love the fabric and strawberries! I can just imagine how difficult it would be to keep the cats confined. Prayers for you and Carole.
Sorry you are getting the snow. Sounds pretty bad in the east. The fabric and strawberries go great together and will look forward to seeing it complete. Good luck with Abe. The 25th seems so far off...but time goes so fast. Hopefully she will be ok until them. Stay warm.

I love those strawberries on the heart box. Are they going to be part of it? I'm hoping the storm won't be as bad as they are saying here. Fingers crossed. I remember the same thing from when I was little -- we had to have 2 feet to have schools cancelled. Now they close at the drop of a hat. lol! Whatever!
I love the heart box and the fabrics. Please be sure to show us the finish. Your cat is just too cute on the chair. I am glad that Carole is scheduled. Take care of yourself, and stay in where it is warm.
Really like the heart box! Where did you get it? Glad that Carole's procedure has been scheduled. Thinking of you!

I had hoped that Carole's surgery would be done on the 12th and she could start her recuperation.. Maybe the delay is for the best. Still praying for both of you.
Your strawberry and fabric are beautiful.
I hate it when I don't get the count correct and have to rip out stitches and start all over. I'm getting better at counting lines and spaces.
Missy looks like she's "down for the count".. Catnip makes our kitties look like they are having seizures.. Miss is a pretty girl.
Take care and be safe in the snow. We didn't get more than a dusting here in my area of Va.

I had a thought about ABE ... Is the fence correct? Should it end with the more melon color and not the yellow? If the problem isn't there, perhaps the grass are is too large? But, in any event, if the house is correct, the windows should just fall in place.
Now that Carole has a definite date, things should fall in place a lot easier.
I think we got lucky on the snow, too, Marly--we got about 7 inches down here and it's so pretty outside! Really more snow in one day than we've had all winter...
The fabric you chose for the pretty berry/heart box finish is perfect!! Hope you can figure out the issue with your house sampler...
Good to hear that Carole's surgery is now scheduled!
So glad your sister's surgery is scheduled finally and we'll pray that all goes well!
That heart box is so pretty with your chosen fabric!
Catnip makes my kitty excited for a couple of minutes and then she sorta puts her head down and totally relaxes! It's so funny, but I understand what you are talking about! HA You cat on the chair photo is priceless!
