What the hell day is it?

Geez.  This isn't an October moon, it's a menomoon.  What happened?  This mood is new and dark, like I'm in a Bette Davis movie, sometimes Baby Jane and sometimes Sweet Charlotte.

Between that and having the dizziness problem again, I haven't completed the chart.  Just the fricking moon on the fourth attempt.  I may just do the vine and a few leaf colors which would give you a good idea of the colors and such, and all may be for naught because you may not even like it.  I only took 1/4 of the Antivert so hopefully I will be able to stitch this evening.

Tomorrow is my last day with my car and I'm hoping I'll be OK to drive.  My sister can't wait to get it and I will miss it so. I love that car, the liftgate window that opens, the comfort, the visibility.  The car I asked "what idiot would be seen in that color", and then bought two weeks and 57 hot flashes later, the car that allowed me to find it in the lots without missing a beat when rushing home to take care of mom, the car I took her to all her appointments in, for ice cream, the car I drove to her funeral.  Oh here we go!  Now the weepies are starting.  What the hell!!!!  Anyway, as expected, I leased the sunset color Escape with the chrome package that will be in tomorrow.  And as we passed the pearl white Forester on the road this morning, I had regrets.  Expected.  Nothing new.  Just the pattern of a person who lacks decisiveness.  That's why I asked for a six month lease but the shortest they offered was two years.  He snickered a little so I messed up papers on the bastard's desk when he left for a moment.

In other mundane news, no calls have been returned about computer repair so I am still cussing like a sailor (which I think is an insult to our Navy) every time I have to hit a key four times to register on the old one.  My sister is driving me nuts about the registration and plate transfer, new insurance, and basics of a car trade that she should be doing on her own.  My brother had to say goodbye to the kitten with the bad leg as it left for a shelter in Erie.  He took such good care of him for over two weeks and has always kept the stray that is "not right" for fear of others' abuse.  His Peanut was relentless in attacking and hurting this little guy so he had no choice.  My cousin in MN has progressed greatly in her dementia and may have to leave the wonderful facility and move to a mental facility.  So sad and upsetting.  So while Mark is golfing I will make a cup of coffee and relax outside.  Not in the swing though, I'm dizzy enough.  I bought mums to replace the summer flowers but they don't fool me.  My season is over and I'm crabby as hell.  Maybe a bad case of crabass sent me into the Bette roles.

Enjoy your day

Thanks for putting up with me.

I feel for you, Marly. Sorry you're having a rough time. Hoping the dizziness will go away.
If your car is red.......I LOVE it.. I think Fords are sturdy, safe cars. BUT I really do understand how you feel about your yellow car.
Find a comfy place with your coffee and enjoy stitching your new stitching idea. Looking forward to your chart.......take you time though........no rush.
I hope the little kitty finds a good home.
Thinking of you.

You are a saint. Your family is so fortunate to have you. I went through the same thing with a car that had any memories of my mother going to my husbands sister. I hope your generosity is appreciated. Always enjoy seeing what you are stitching. I too have been known to put a project in the fire that was driving me nuts! Happy fall.

Maybe she should drive the lease? The new car is lovely though - and how fun to have a new one!! I hope you feel better soon - I am waiting, for what seems like forever, for the doctor to call and tell me if my foot is broken - ridiculous!!

I like your Menomoon. Sometimes the ones that are the biggest struggle reap the best rewards. Here's hoping your moon will come into its autumn fullness soon. :)

I am personally glad that you leased the Sunset color..as if that would actually matter to you! In the meantime, take a deep breath, relax and know that there is a special place in Heaven for you! Good luck with the new car.

Glad you chose sunset....I think you will be happy, there are SO many white cars. One in my driveway too !. Everyone has favorite cars but that is why they are fav's they are in the past. My first car a 1962 ( white) chevy corvair...so much fun, then of course there is my 1969 green mustang, I went to Woodstock in that car! My station wagon when I had the twins and a baby boy.....as I said they are all favorites. Marly take a breath and enjoy now....when is the landscaper returning.....talking about take a breath!

Marly you do make me laugh - I love that you messed up his papers! And I hate that the dizzyness persists. That's debilitating....once kept my mother-in-law down for several months. I like the beginning of your chart and look forward to seeing it finished. blessings, marlene

Marly, I love the moon and the color of your new ride. Sisters can be a pain in the ass but when they go they leave a different & tougher kind of pain and leave quite a hole. Sorry about the dizziness. You still manage to get more done then most of us. I hope you have a beautiful day relaxing outside enjoying the last of our favorite season. I think the new ride will add a great punch of color during the colorless winter months and you'll make new memories with it. And then there is always the chocolate for back up. Sending cyber hugs from gloomy Minnesota. Krissy B.

I can relate to the crabbies and weepies. This time of year is so rough for me and I just can't stand this seasonal change. I tried to talk myself into thinking this year would be different, but it didn't work, lol. Hope you feel better and the dizziness goes away.

I agree with the above comment - you are a saint! If only we all had sisters like you.
You have my sympathy with the dizziness. I had a terrible "inner inner ear" infection (according to the physician assistant) that left me horribly dizzy for months. I'm not convinced the P.A. was correct with the diagnosis, but whatever it was it was awful. I felt like I was on a boat in the middle of an ocean storm. I'm pretty sure even the neighbors could hear me cursing.
I hope the lower dose of your drugs makes the difference! Don't hurry the stitching on our account, we'll be here when you're ready!
