How was your weekend? Gone in a flash? It will be Christmas before we know it.
I stitched the vine's flowers around the house and used eyelet in the center instead of Rococo which I think is the same as Queen. The vine is stem stitch which is very easy to do, even though I forgot and had to look up the video again. 
Since I don't want to keep checking placement on the graph, I outlined it with Frixion. The pen doesn't take to coarse linen very well but I have a light outline to follow and also marked the flowers' stems which I know I would forget to do. This will go really fast and then after pressing, Frixion will disappear. Even if it didn't, I would outline anyway and have the stitches cover it. Do you? Or is this another no-no to add to my long list of stitching indiscretions?
Originally I was planning to leave the vine out completely, just because
1. I'm so anxious to get this over with
2. I'm lazy
3. I do what I want, even on reproductions
4. I'm a putz.

At this point, do whatever the hell I have to in order to finish this wonderful sampler. On all points, I'm approaching 65, stuck in two decades of menopause, crabby, a reckless stitcher, and do whatever the hell I want anyway.
I guess that crustacean still has its claws in me. And I'm allergic to shellfish.

i have to tell you i have been following / stalking your blog i guess i could say almost daily for YEARS now. Never posted. I am 44, going through menopause and your menomoods are a highlight of my day and unknowingly you keep me sane, save my husband from additional grief, even if he does not think so and you inspire me to keep on pushing my needle through all my projects. It's looking beautiful. The frixion pen will be covered up, so no worries. I've heard it can come back under certain conditions, but in your case it won't show anyway. Please don't tell me I'm going to have a long menopause. I supposedly just started.....

Way to go in getting your sampler finished; your vine looks great and the market won't show once it is finished. I still like the house.

The sampler is looking fantastic! It'd be different if you were submitting the piece to be judged, so I say do whatever you want, however you want, because it's your project. Hope your week is a good one.
It is all flying by so quickly - wth!! Your stitching looks great - I think doing what you want is the right thing to do!!
I had to sit through a CE course all day Saturday and when I left it was raining so hard I had to pull of the road. Sunday worked outside all day i the yard and paying for it today....pain!
I can't believe Nov. 1st. is upon us .

What I so love about every one of your posts is that you are so real. Instead of writing how terrific everything is and how you love everything you are doing and how you do it so perfectly, you write just the way I am sure most of us feel about things. You are not a putz, and what a terrific idea to use Frixion to draw the vine. I would never have thought to do that. Keep those wonderful and realistic posts coming - I LOVE THEM!!!!!
