The question mark. Unmistakable in form.

Odd when it's sprouting from your head. My wild mess of dyed steel wool does what it wants. During recent surgery, somehow they tried to tame my hair before the cap and I ended up with several chopped pieces. This one has defied all products and pops up at will. For the first time, Mark tagged along to a few sales Thanksgiving afternoon. He was in such shock from the crowd at Walmart and subsequent stores, that he failed to mention the question mark escaped from the hair comb. I think it may have happened when I bent over to locate a certain size of jeans from boxes in the main aisle, and several thousand people rammed into my rear while my head hit the display over and over. We found the sizes and left. They advertised opening at 6pm, but the enormous parking lot had overflowed into the adjoining plaza and people had filled carts way before that, standing in lines waiting until 6 to check out. Once home and changing into my standard uniform of sweats, I wrenched my neck removing my sweater. When I was pulling it over my head, somehow the sleeve of the turtleneck underneath was pulled inside out and caught in the sweater. Panic attack. My head was stuck between the sweater and the turtle and as I fought to release my arms, claustrophobia took over. In that struggle I felt something pull in my neck but I made it out! The sweater is now large enough for my sister to wear.
We didn't have Thanksgiving dinner because Carole came down with a terrible cold, and the next five days have other commitments, so maybe next weekend! I paid a lot more for a fresh turkey and it ended up in the freezer anyway.
The boxes will be listed Sunday morning but I haven't figured out how yet. I may do it in two batches if I can get labels made for the other size. I will post the time tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon and let you know for sure. One more trip tomorrow to see if any boxes came in, but I doubt it. Maybe future offers will be BYOB. Buy Your Own Box. I'll send the label.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Thanks for visiting.

Marly: You are a brave woman to post that adorable picture of your question mark, love it totally, we took our families out to brunch, cheaper that way and I can get a cocktail, you know why? I need it to put up with a large group like our clans.
I have not been in a Walmart for over 29 years, worked for them part-time had enough of them then.
I am looking forward to seeing the boxes for sale.
I hope you are doing well and have a wonderful week-end.
Kudos to your Husband for going with you on that pre black Friday sale.
I hope Carole is feeling better.
Blessings
Catherine
Sorry that your Thanksgiving meal was postponed and that you pulled something in your neck! Hope you have a restful weekend!
Hope Carole will be better soon and don't make you ill too.
Thanks for your wonderfull posts--I can see your story if I'm watching a movie.Love your humor!
Have a great weekend without trubles.
greetings,Truus from Holland
You're adorable! Sorry you didnt have Thanksgiving yet.
I hope no serious damage was done. I can't stand black Fri. Way to busy for my liking and with my back this year, I think I would have been trampled. I can't move very fast!
You should write for tv...you crack me up.
You are braver than I am, braving the Black Friday (Thanksgiving) crowds. Yikes! I just can't. We didn't even peek our noses out. No way. Hope that question mark calms down. I think it looks cute -- maybe you should tease your hair so it doesn't stand out. :D
Wonderful do my friend... Just think, yummy thanksgiving supper still to be had.Hugs Francine.
You and hubby are brave souls. I ventured out for an hour late this afternoon and that was enough for me! I do not like to shop but I am a sucker for the Kohl's game. The $160 coat I would not buy on sale for $99 was now $49.99, less the $10 coupon they sent me, less 15%, and since I bought a couple calendars, I now have $15 Kohl's cash so they will get me in the store once again...sigh.
Happy belated Thanksgiving.
Hugs :)

I didn't notice the question-mark hair - I just saw wrinkle-free, bag-free, shadow-free eyes! You lucky girl!
So sorry for the "head butting", neck "criking" and the claustrophobia. You and Mark were so very brave to tackle Black Friday ! I didn't venture out and probably won't until sometime next week.
I hope Carole will be feeling much better and you'll be able to feast this coming weekend. Sorry you have to postpone your meal.
I think the BYOB is a good idea.
Have a happy, relaxed Saturday and Sunday !

Sorry to hear about the store crowds being so stoopid, and you wrenching your neck. I have also wrenched mine, tho I don't exactly know what started it... All I know is my head feels like it weighs 100 pounds and if I turn to the right with it...owwwww! Had a crowd here for Thanksgiving dinner... 10. Plus one plate made for a neighbor... I enjoy the cooking most of the time... this year, not so much... too much going on... sigh... But I did fine, meal was good, mostly gone now. Next weekend is just as good a time to give Thanks as any! Big Hugs!
Ugh! I hope that you are feeling better and that Thanksgiving dinner is on track to happen.
Miss you!
