The kitchen (never to be completely finished) won't see action until Tuesday. By then we're hoping Carole will be better. The Polish dinner for Eve, also postponed, will be next Friday or Saturday. I don't want to freeze the kielbasa so we'll have it Sunday. If there is any left. I've been alternating snowball, kielbasa, nutroll, kielbasa, almond crescent, kielbasa, butterscotch crunch, kielbasa, bobalki, kielbasa. You get the idea.
Someone has been taking liberty with house privileges. Her coloring is like camouflage and sometimes I am looking right at her and don't realize it.
I said I probably wouldn't be back until after Christmas and I've shown up three times since. Can't trust me.

My last moment before closing my eyes and going to sleep. Yes, I'm smiling and you give me so many reasons. As I look at your photos tonight I see the Christmas Bells and the hanging Santa bag and the kitty and the kitchen and even though your life gives you endless reasons to chuck it into the fuck it bucket (saw this on Pinterest), you just keep going and keep trying, and keep your sense of humor and keep sharing with us who can't wait to hear the latest. And you were so right when you said yesterday that you will be the one with no regrets when all is said & done because you know what's really important. So you make good memories a few days later. at least you will still make them and will enjoy them more and more as time goes on. You are an angel and a gift to many Marly. A true blessing. I hope you find some magic at Christmas. Some unexpected little surprise waiting for you. Something that will make you remember this one. Life is good. Be safe, be warm, and be thankful! Merry Christmas!
Your Christmas Bells turned out awesome.
Pretty kitchen.
I hope your sister feels better soon.
Kitty likes Christmas too! :)

Merry Christmas Eve, Marly. I totally agree with what Krissy B. has written to you.
Your kitchen is beautiful. Hard work but you and Mark have shared an amazing accomplishment.
Missy is a beautiful kitty......enjoying your home............blessed kitty.
I hope Carole, Chris, you and Mark will all be healthy and able to enjoy a delicious Christmas meal very soon.

Merry Christmas! I found your blog yesterday. So glad I did. Your cat, kitchen and stitching are all beautiful!
Thank God for you! Thank God that the snarks have taken a holiday. Love your precious and rambunctious kitties(keep plenty of bandages and ointment just in case for those kitty moments!)Your life and commentary have given more joy to us than you can imagine. You say what you feel, so again, an enema for the mind, as Martha would say, It's a good thing!
Keep Christmas, on whatever day, safe and warm and filled with the memories of the season. For us it was Tiger meat on crackers and egg nog. I am not fond of the nog, but I still do the tiger meat thing. I know, they issued a warning last night on the news about listeria, ecoli and every other bad thing that can happen. It is Christmas after all.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
Love how the Christmas bells turned out - looks fantastic! What a pretty shot through your kitchen. Clearly you are far neater than I am - or maybe you just have more cabinets to hide the holiday goodies that always seem to stack up on my counters - the poinsettias on either side of you sink are so bright and cherry.
Merry Christmas, Marly. Thank you for all the smiles you've brought this year. I hope life is good to you and lets you relax a bit and enjoy the holiday.
Love the Christmas bells...Love, love your kitchen. Confession - wish I could
keep my counters that cleared. Neat. I echo all the others who are grateful for your humor and wit despite what life hands you throughout the days. You are a model
of fortitude and steadfastness....We love you.
Oh I want that cross stitch, I want your kitchen and your kitty and your Santa pouch but most of all I want you to
Have a merry and blessed Christmas and to Thank You for being you and for putting smiles on my face. Peace
Darlene N
Love your Christmas Bells. Wishing you a Merry Christmas Marly!! Thank you for all the laughs.
Christmas Bells is beautifully done! And cats will always take liberties. : ) Hope everyone is feeling better soon, Marly, and I too want to thank you for being you and so often bringing a smile to my face when no one or nothing else can.
Christmas Bells is just lovely. Cats will do whatever you don't want them to do. One of mine keeps chewing on the gift bows and the other is getting into the gift bags. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Beautiful pictures - love the bells piece. Merry Christmas to you and blessing for the coming year.
I knew you couldn't stay away!
Merry, merry Christmas.
Hugs :)
Lauren

Love your Christmas bells and all your talk about the Polish foods. My husband is Polish and I never got into making the foods.....his mother always did such a great job with the prune and nut rolls, kolatc, etc. Have a Merry Christmas and best wishes for celebrating with your loved ones when everyone is well. Happy New Year.....look forward to your blogs in the new year.
I hope everyone is feeling better very soon. Merry Christmas to you all. (Your unfinished kitchen looks better than my circa 70s kitchen!!)

Merry Christmas Marly to you and yours...and the sweet kitties too. Enjoy that
kielbasa. We have polish Christmas Eve here. We have Kielbasa, Stuffed cabbage, Pierogi,
and Ham. We make sauerkraut, potato, prune and fresh cabbage pierogi. Lots of work but well worth the effort in the end. Enjoy this Blessed and beautiful season. You light my day with laughter so many times and I am so grateful. Thank you!
P.S. Your kitchen looks lovely.
Your Bells are so so lovely and I want to do one or two....:)
Thank you so much for your inspiration and your blog to share it with us.
I hope you have a wonderful holiday and surround yourself with everything
you cherish.
Our Christmas dinner was put on hold also. We spent Christmas Eve at the Emergency Vet Hospital and Christmas day quickly with family and back to hospital and today to NC State Veterinary School. A wild not peaceful Christmas but certainly one that reveals what is truly important. Not things, not cross stitch, not the food or the mess at home. Loved ones and our love for them gives hope.
