Are you kidding?

Take a look.

Take a closer look.

Check out the black dust in my neck folds and around my glasses.
My hands and clothes are covered with it from doing this..

They see that I am sanding in 90 degree heat, black dust is stuck to my sweaty clothes and skin.  My feet are black!  And they pull into the drive and ask if they could see the inside of the house.  Sure. Let me strip naked and hose myself off out back first, and then check to see if there is a for sale sign in my yard.  Nope.  Don't see one.
Are you kidding me????

So did you let them in for a walk through? :-) The nerve of people never ceases to amaze me. Each year on Halloween I have complete strangers beg me to use our bathroom while out trick or treating.

Marley: I cannot believe the nerve of some assholes, so sorry for the bad words, why did they think that your ho,e was for sale is the question of the century.
However,I am impressed that you are showing all that black stuff, I hope it comes off easily.

I hope you gave them a tour along with a big glass of iced tea and pie for stopping by! Seriously what the heck are they thinking?

Those people sound a little creepy! And sadly they just seem typical of some people today. Love your pictures. : )

Yeah right, like you are going to give a stranger a tour.
Almost had to laugh at this one.
Maybe they thought you were building the house???
There's all kinds of weirdos out there!

God bless you Marly ! I hope you laughed in their face. Don't know what this world is coming too anymore.
Take care of yourself. That looks like an awful job.
I know your home will be gorgeous when it's finished.

That’s ok, we see you are busy and don’t want to stop and give us a tour. We’ll come back later. Is 9:00 PM OK? .....oy vey!!! Now I am going to wonder all day what we’re they really thinking??? Or NOT thinking!

Take it as a compliment and tell them it's bad timing. It's nice when someone likes your house enough to approach you about it but I would think they would wait until you are doing something else. We have had people ask us to keep their info in case we decide to sell. I have not ever said yes to a tour as we are very private and would prefer to keep it that way. Love these photos. Progress isn't always pretty is it. LOL!

Maybe you still had the" Open House "sign up. Really that takes some nerve, We ( husband) rebuilt a side porch a few years back and when we were out front, walkers would say nice job but never asked to come around back on to the porch! We also live right close to the street, pulling up the drive unbelievable. That being said nice job on the sanding.
