Merry Christmas

Wishing you all a joyous day.

Simple this year, ham & swiss, philly steak sliders and pasta salad.  Christmas day will be our requested garlic chicken breasts and cheesy potato casserole with salad.  That's it.  No intention of running around trying to find things for a large dinner at the last minute, but since I am better, I can certainly have them over for a simple meal.

My thoughts are with our friends in Las Vegas, dealing with their loss.  His mass will be the day after Christmas, his absolute favorite holiday.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Embrace the joy, shut down political talk, and celebrate your loved ones as if it will be their last Christmas.

Beautifully said!
My heart aches for your friend's family. Loss has to be especially hard at this time of year.
So happy you are feeling better.

Merry Christmas, Marly and family.
Christmas and other holidays are different and hard to get through when we've lost loved ones. So sorry for your friends in Las Vegas.
We had our BIG meal yesterday (Christmas Eve), now to enjoy the left overs today and the remainder of the week.
So glad you're feeling better.
Thinking of you,
Hugs,
Charlotte in Va.

Glad to hear your head has settled down! I just played Santa for the thirty second year in a row for Annie...a true believer. Placed presents beneath the tree, filled stockings and read the note she left for Santa. I ate carrots left for reindeer and drank o.j left for Santa. Perhaps the healthy things I'll eat all day. Enjoy your day with your family. You are lucky to have them...and they you.
