1 large can crushed pineapple including juice (I use heavy syrup)
1 10 oz - 14 oz sliced strawberries (I use frozen)
1 Eagle brand condensed milk
1 8 oz Cool Whip (reg. or lite)
4 sliced small/medium bananas
Combine milk and Cool Whip, stir in fruits to blend, and spread into two glass bread pans. Freeze overnight. Take out of freezer 15 - 20 minutes before slicing and serving.
So many versions with different fruits but this is our favorite, sort of like a banana split. I haven't tried the one made with cream cheese and sugar instead of the condensed milk, but will one day to see the difference.
Decided on a stitched piece with black accents for the new built-in.
So what am I wearing to the reunion mixer? Jeans, white shirt, rhinestone bracelets, and a 48# cold sore.

That is a perfect selection for your new build in. The black a border really makes it pop!
Love that little horse. The reunion outfit, perfect. It is all about how you carry it off. I have a friend who can wear khaki slacks a white shirt , blue blazer and gold jewelry and make everyone else looks frumpy. She enters the room owning the place. It is all about attitude!
Love your door “hanging”. Enjoy your reunion. I just had my sixty first in July. Went to an all girl Catholic high school.
Haven't had that salad in years! Will have to try your version... Hope you have fun at the reunion. I went to my 45th high school reunion last summer and had a surprisingly good time :)
Love your horse pocket. Have fun at your reunion.
I hope you have fun at your reunion. I only went to my 30th and it was like I was back in high school with the "cliques".
That salad sounds heavenly!
Marly: A perfect piece to hang, it is lovely.
I am so sorry about your cold sore ouch.
Thank-you for the recipe.
Catherine
Many thanks for the recipe, dear one. Could not work through two pans, ho ho, so will share one. Sounds so delicious. I like your reunion garb and know you will
look what for....head high and sail through....
I LOVE 'Spot the Horse'. I have the pattern and I WILL SOMEDAY stitch it. Yours looks perfect on the door.
Enjoy the reunion. My husband grew up in Glendora. These guys and wives, on first Monday of every month have 'get togethers'/reunions at a place called '66', like in route 66. I must be nice to be able to still visit and have friends for nearly 80 years. I am not that fortunate. They do a LOT of reminiscing, stories I have heard tenfold times, so I usually do not go. Anyways, ENJOY!
Catching up on your posts. Sorry you are suffering so much with your eyes and all. Hope the reunion mixer was good. Love your spotted horse -- great place for it.
Wow...that horsey looks great on your cupboard door! Is there a pattern for this horse in cross stitch? He's so handsome.
