DONE!!!

No drum roll until the mini is attached.
I did not know there was more over one on the tiny sampler.  I hadn't put away your stitching over one notes to me yet so I was fine.  Not happy, but fine.  I considered moving the e closer and adding the r to Pitminster, but followed the chart.  Color changes on this mini?  Of course.
I didn't have a linen color that complimented the sampler, most were too dark or too gray.  So I chose a similar shade, just a little lighter, and it's 28 count rather than 30 but still fits in the space.  It should be hemmed but the linen is heavy and may look bulky.  I'm considering a fringe of just two rows and hand sewing it along the edge.  But first I'll press the hem back to see the result before I decide.  The cross stitching is done!!   It's been a long journey.  Thanks for your support and encouragement!!

My ultrasound was fine.  It was after 2:00 so we stocked up on the $1 snack size Jamocas for the freezer.  Several places here are offering a special take out menu with reduced prices, really good deals.  One is so busy they had to add another phone line.  Other places not as much.  We've going to try to order more take out this week. Many retailers are offering online discounts too.

Stay safe everyone, call family and friends that you haven't spoken with for a while, send out some "just to say hello" cards, take an afternoon ride and stock up on Jamocas.

Marly: This is such a beautiful Sampler, I would not have moved the r myself, it gives it the right vintage look.
I thought Mike and I were the only ones ordering out, it is amazing how much the restaurants are offering for a discount, living in a small town we really need to keep the business's going.
I need to look up and see what are jamocas.

Congrats on your finish!!! I'm looking forward to seeing a picture of the whole thing.
We, too, have been ordering some takeout trying to support local restaurants. Most have just opened in the last year and the chances for survival were slim before...but now sadly most of them will not make it.
Be safe and stay healthy!!!

Congratulations on an incredible finish - woohoo for you! Good changes on the tiny sampler - much better than the nearly disappearing paleness as charted.

That sampler and the little one are just amazing! We are doing take out a few times a week just to help our local businesses. I try to go for a walk each week with a friend who is a widow and lives alone. I think it is a time when we all need to reach out to others a bit more than usual.

Marly, you could always do a Nun's stitch around the tiny sampler, that will stop it fraying but avoid bulk. You can then attach it to the main sampler with tiny stitches along the same stitch lines. Congratulations on your finish. Stay well.
