Pink pop

Instead of my usual red geraniums and sometimes white tunias out front, I switched to the Bubblegum.  I kind of like the pink pop!

Like mother like son.

My birthday gift to me was a chart I will never stitch, but had to have.
Mary Barres by Stacy Nash.  Still have a problem with linen.  Is Parchment pinky?  Yellow?  Gray?  What about Wren?  Trying different online shops doesn't help because most have the same stock photo, and others have a photo that isn't even close.  Will order the smallest piece to see color when they are in stock, the best and only way for now.

Matt was ignoring us Sunday, but no more than usual.  I asked Jess what the school and other help has been doing these last months (he's autistic).  She said the teachers emailed once a week to give the new lesson and instructions to the online site.  They called daily to ask if the student was present or absent for study.  That. was. it.  Grading and all else was done by the online study class.

Mark took me for a ride in the country, my favorite thing for relaxing, but a storm came quickly.  We stopped at McD's to get my iced coffee.  It was a small instead of the ordered and paid for large.  Sent it back and received a vanilla flavored coffee, also not what I ordered.  Then came home to sit on my swing and enjoy a yucky fake vanilla taste and a downpour once again hit me.  On the way into the house I felt something sharp on my tongue.  It was a large portion of my tooth.  Can't get an appt until July 6.  All in all, a good birthday!!

Enjoy your day!!

So sorry, dear one, that your birthday was marred by storms and Mac ineptitude.
The petunias look so lovely on your beautiful home. Put the tooth under your pillow and "demand" a reward from the tooth fairy.. you earned it. Hope the week
improves and you find the linen you want...Blessings.

I'm so sorry about your tooth. Love the pinky flowers. I have some parchment, recently ordered on the Zweigart base (more substantial than in the past). I have 2 different pieces and each is yellow with slight pink undertones. And the color is robust rather than faint or shy.

Your house is so wonderful and the flowers are perfect!
We sure could use a downpour. We got a little but need so much more.
So sorry about the tooth and having to wait that long for an appointment is the pits. Of course your tongue will travel to that broken tooth countless times a day :(

Perfect in Pink!! I am sorry your tooth broke. Mine broke months ago. I never got it fixed yet. First dentists were closed. Then we did not have money. I need to make an appt! I think I will be waiting!

I love the pink with your house! It looks so pretty! You and my DH have something in common. He leaves in a few minutes for the dentist. A large piece of tooth broke last week. He at least, gets in sooner than you do. Sorry about the coffee. Things like that are a pain when all else seems to be a pain right now.

Don't u love it when you go-What is that in my mouth? A tooth. Ugh!! I was cracking them left and right till I got a night guard. I swear it has saved me a few teeth and need for crowns. Love the PINK.

The pink is beautiful! Change is good. I'm sure none of the teachers have any training on how to do online classes. I can't imagine how to do remote classes with special ed. students! Glad I'm retired. To have to adapt overnight would be overwhelming! I would need to see my students in person!
Sorry about your tooth! How's Petey? I sure like him and he deserves more than his human dumping him!!

So sorry about your tooth.......sounds like the problems that have been happening here. I hope you can get it fixed quickly....hope it wasn't a front tooth like you know who.
Can't depend on good service at McDonald's ! Always have to check to make sure we get the things we ordered........same at other fast food places too.
Best wishes for a wonderful year ahead for you. Happy, happy belated Birthday.
Hugs,

So sorry about your tooth, what a surprise in your mouth.
We do not eat at McDonalds anymore three strikes and they were out, three orders in a row screwed up, Dairy Queen is better for me.
I know what you mean about fabric colors if the light is not right the color of fabric can be way off.
I hope you do that Sampler it is beautiful.

So sorry about your tooth, right now I am waiting to hear about upcoming cleaning appointment in July. Love the front of your home, to me perfect. Fabric dyes are so tricky, that's why I have a small stash. Neutrals can be tricky, pink, yellow or too gray. Good luck with that. Also Happy Birthday.

Photos of your house always make me drool. It looks like a dream home to me. I have always favored a pink/blue/purple/white palette in flowers for some reason so, of course, your bubblegums look beautiful to me. Ouch on the tooth. That reminds me that I have to call to reschedule my appt....I had an appt in March which, of course, was canceled...rescheduled to April, then just canceled... They never bothered to call back. I can only imagine when I will be able to get in. ~Robin~
