How many times?

I lost count.  First I removed the bird breast because of counting errors.  Then color after color, all of which were too strong.  There had to be some color, otherwise the breast did not show on this linen.  I'm done.

The other two birds are charted in different colors than the large bird but I may not do that.  Surprised?

I took Carole to a lab for blood work and she did not know a urine sample was needed.  She doesn't bother reading anything even though she had the requisition in hand.  So they show her into the bathroom and when the alarm went off, somehow, I knew it was her.  As I said, she doesn't bother reading anything.  That red cord ain't to order an iced coffee!!  Read the sign!!

Enjoy the final day of July.  I complain every year of summer passing too quickly.  This year, more so.  Stay safe.

Love the color of the breast of the bird.
Your life isn't dull with a sister like Carole! I thought my sister does stupid things but that isn't anything like Carole.
Take care and enjoy the sunny days of summer.

This summer will be gone, shortly, but you know it will be back next year.
Mosquitoes have been terrible here this year. Can't even enjoy my deck or swing.
Have a good Friday and weekend.
Carole will get it right one of these days. Bless her heart and yours.

I like the color you ended up with. I'm not sure if I thing "finally" or "already" about being the last day of July. Part of me just wants this summer gone, but I'm not looking forward to winter.

Is this a new thing with Carole? Is it not reading, or is her comprehension or memory slipping? Still, frustrating for you no matter what the reason!

I love the sampler...the colors are perfect. As an RN working in a hospital system for over 32 years, I can't tell you how many times patients pulled that little red cord! Carole's certainly not the only one and won't be the last one either!! Take care and enjoy your stitching!

I do love the color changes, the bird is perfect. I often wondered what would happen if you pulled that red cord, hahaha. Thank you Carole now I know. Have a good weekend, Heat I can't stand it. Give me a nice winter day anytime. OK or a Autumn day in the 70's this humidity is brutal.

Yes, I agree wholeheartedly that this summer...odd as it has been...is slipping by faster than they usually do. I have just chalked it up to getting old and less tolerant each year of the winters. And don't pick on Carole too much LOL...I didn't realize my last labs also required a urine sample....Since it was also a fasting lab, I hadn't had anything to drink or eat....I sat starting at that red pull cord a long, long, time....but nope, I did NOT pull it ha ha. I think you ended on a great bird breast color. You really are making tracks on this. ~Robin~
