When mama ain't happy

 ain't nobody happy.

But I am!!  Took a while to find a gold that wasn't too close to the 420, or a rust that wasn't close to the 400, and the brown of 801 seemed to be a good choice.  502 was a close second to coordinate with the 500 but I didn't care for it next to the bright blue.

Cold windy and rainy tomorrow, the FIRST OF NOVEMBER.  WTH???  We are both walking like cave people from another day of blowing and raking 10" deep leaves.  Our yard is 190 x 210 and not one spot is immune from the fallout.

I've never had an orange mum with red center, most all here are gold/yellow and orange.  It's really pretty.

Have a good Sunday!!

If you have a lawn mower with a collection box, you can run that over the fallen leaves and it has the added bonus of chopping them up so that they can be composted more easily. Sounds like you have a lot of trees though.

Love the color of your mum!
The colors you have choosen for the alphabeth is much better than the original.
Stay save and enjoy your Sunday.

Your chrysanthemum is beautiful. My bright red one is finally blooming.
I brought my leaf blower inside and have blown my deck off twice. Will use the blower to blow snow off too, if we get any. The rest of the leaves can stay where they are.
Happy November 1st.

I’m just hoping that before my leaves fall I can get the huge limbs hauled off that fell from the ice storm. The whole town looks like a tornado went through!

Your Mums are gorgeous, Marly! I like the brown you went with for the letters. It looks good with the other colors. Happy November!

Our surprise "dusting" of snow actually 2" inches has covered all the leaves! Those mums are beautiful, sometimes their colors are overlooked.

Great resolution on the color dilemma Marly...I couldn't have done it better....heck, I couldn't have done it at all....who am I kidding?? I love that mum of yours....I think mine is at the neighbor's down the road....the wind here is HORRENDOUS....grateful, though, that we still have power as many don't. Made for a rough ride last night. ;-) ~Robin~

Nice color change on the sampler! And those mums are gorgeous. I guess one good thing from the August storm that we got hit by - we (by that I mean DH) don't have nearly as many leaves to deal with. I'd rather have the trees though.
