post on Instagram, take a look at the mum that keeps giving. First the deep burgundy, then glints of deep orange, opening to red centers, and now sparkling orange in its mature flower. Why oh why didn't I note the variety? He had three orange options, and I'll have to show him this photo next year.
My laptop doesn't show the sparkle and depth of color like my tablet does. But in person the color is brilliant!
I should probably give the copper kettle a good cleaning. 'Ya think? LOL!

Don’t you touch that copper! That is the loveliest mum ever!
It's beautiful your mum!!!
I have a mum over from last year --not as beautiful as last year-- but it has three colors purple and pink.
If you clean the copper kettle you take away the shininess of the flowers!!! Don't clean!!!
Have a great day and take care
Greetings, Truus from Holland
What a gorgeous pot of mums! Love their color and hard to believe they started off in burgundy. Enjoy your weekend, Marly!
This is truly beautiful Marly!
I will join Ms Peppercorn in chastising you for even THINKING about cleaning up that copper tub.... That was the first thing that caught my eye!! The mum is truly glorious as well....You must have tended it well for it to still be so full of blooms, vibrant, and healthy. I took my ugly one in and out of the garage (many, many, HARD freezes here), picked it up from the farmer's field across the way half a dozen times, and it is spent....Going, going, gone (when I finally remember to take the dumpsters out LOL). ~Robin~
Just beautiful! Mine all wilted and died quickly this year!
NOOOOOOO!! Do NOT clean your pot. Love the verdigris that develops on copper-- it's beautiful!!
Oh my goodness! THAT is the most beautiful mum I've seen in a loooong time! Gorgeous!
