I feel a slump in my bones. Really. But I'm plugging along. Hoping to get through a row of very large letters in eyelet, and a shorter row of smaller 4-sided letters. I'm working half the sampler at a time so that will help with the tedium.
Still having a hard time seeing the 36 count. My eyes are drying so fast, and setting everything down to install drops every 10 minutes is a PITA. Maybe this slumpiness is more annoyance which makes it unpleasant rather than enjoyable.
Remember when I mentioned that I saw an eyelet stitch video being done opposite of the correct method? That was coming up in the center and going down at outer edges? I did it with the green in the this row, the white was completed up on the edge and down into the center. Hard to see the wonky since the thread is so light, but certainly not as neat, overlapped threads here and there. So I continued even though through habit some stitches were executed the traditional way.
It snowed.
The end.

Looking great, and I love your color changes.
That's wild - your backwards eyelets look just like they're supposed to, absolutely great.
Backwards eyelets. Whodda thunk?
Praying for our Country this evening. I have heard time and again that PA will determine the outcome of the election.
Well, maybe the slumpiness and annoyance is due in part to the turning of the calendar and the "s" stuff??? Methinks you may be a glutton for eyelet stitches LOL.... Seems to me there were quite a few in your last large piece as well. And while I will it put it out there that the eyelets in the the darker thread are going to naturally look neater because you see them so much more clearly than those done in the lighter thread, but I have to admit....when I enlarged the photo, I did see the difference you are talking about. Now....do you think I will remember this when it comes to the rare occasion that I have to do eyelets again?? Ummmm....I think you know the answer to that. ~Robin~ (PS....hoping PA comes through!!)
Your eyelets are looking good to me.
Will try both methodes next time to see what I do prefer.
Stay save and healthy and lots of prayers for your country.

I must again tell you how very much I enjoy your postings. You always give me a new idea of a pattern to try and your color choices are wonderful. THANK YOU. I hope your eyes are better and you are able to enjoy stitching. Some days I worry about my hands and hope they hold out for more years since I really do love stitching and following blogs like yours gives me such joy.
Take care and be safe
I too just know one way to do eyelets, I just have to remember don't cross the opening!!!! Your looks very nice to me. Take care.
Looks great to me!!!
I always do eyelets from the outside to the inside. Never thought of doing them in the opposite direction, but all of yours look great!
