Nice to hear I'm not the only one that is somewhat obsessed with error location. Most times, it leads to more. The edge aligns with the 1 but not the A further down, don't know why. But the C is two spaces below the first T and it should be three which would make the A part off by one more, but since the C error moved it up a row which should correct alignment by the A but not the 1, but the second T doesn't line up with edge even though it moved up one because of the C error yet it's down one, and that long looking stitch in the outside edge turns out to be over three and off one linen thread. So I baked a pie.
This pie plate is Anchor Hocking and the only one I found with handles this large. Others are just too small for arthritic hands with a fat hotpad.
Beneath the vase will be several rows of grass, so this is very close to the bottom.
This vase and greenery are all color changes, not because I planned it, but that's another story.
Do you wear those fuzzy socks instead of slippers? I do. And I found a brand that is the softest and best fitting online. Earth Therapeutics with Aloe. They offered 15% off and free shipping at $25 so I got four pair and they are heavenly, total comfort. They do leave a ring around my Polish ankles but what doesn't.
Have a good evening.

Yummy looking pie
Great pie plate and good looking pie.
As a child I already had always a ring round my anckels wearing socks.
If you don't have the pattern near the sampler, nobody will know that there are changes in your stitching.
Hope all is going well with the vet.
Take care
Greetings, Truus from Holland
You pie looks scrumptious and your new socks look heavenly. Wish I could walk around the house in something like those. Need support for my sprained ankle and "wonky" knee.
Will be thinking about Bud today. Bless his heart and yours too.
Don't it feel good when you're almost to the end of a chart/project ?
Enjoy your socks, stay well and safe.
God bless America.

What a pie! Hope it all goes smooth for Bud. My Aunt gave me two pair of those socks for Christmas a few years ago. In PINK! I gave them to Madeleine. They were too soft for me. I felt like I was slipping and sliding on the wood floors. You don't? And they left rings on these Polish ankles too.
Pie, I need pie! I have no water in the kitchen yet. Hopefully, tomorrow. Just can't bake or cook without water. Like that pie pan, I have a collection of pie pans in many sizes and styles but only one with nice handles. I collect Polish pottery, husband is Polish, and they are sturdy but no handles.
Poor Bud. Our critters are such a concern, aren't they? Hope it all goes well.
Hi Marly,
Your pie looks fantastic!!! Is it apple? My favorite, along with rhubarb, blueberry, peach, raspberry, blackberry.......!!!! Love that pie plate, too!! I need to look for one like that!!
Those socks look wonderful and I love a soft sock, but if the elastic is too tight, it starts to hurt with my fibro! Pressure points in my ankles!!
I hope the vet visit works out for Bud!!
Take care and enjoy that pie!!
Heart Hugs~

Yummy looking pie, looks like apple to me. I do not wear socks I wear slippers or my preference bare footed. I would slip on the stairs if I just wore socks. I am always up and down the stairs. Stitching room upstairs, stove ( for making tea) is down stairs. Besides cats are always wanted something to snack on when I am upstairs. Otto my big yellow male likes running water from kitchen sink! Hope Bud's visit goes well and you don't need to mortgage the house to pay bill!!
"so I baked a pie" hilarious, after that rundown on making adjustments....
Things should go better once you've served us each a slice. JoAnn's used
to carry those socks for a pittance and I stocked up. Love them. Best of
everything to you and Bud; may you get hopeful news.
How is Bud ?
Your first paragraph just cracked me up...but your pie looks like the perfect solution ;-)
Good luck with the vet visit.
Good luck with the vet visit. It will be worth it for your peace of mind if nothing else.
Pie baking sounds like the perfect answer to error location. Looks delicious.
I made a wild blueberry pie today. Praying For Bud. So hard to go through this time and time again but living without pets would be worse. Huge cyber hugs to you. Keep us informed.
Marly, that first paragraph made my head spin but, then there was the pie!! It looked perfect and just what you needed! I hope you enjoyed every bite. I hope the vet will be able to help Bud. Cherie in WI
Marly: I like this Sampler and you are so close to the finish.
I too would bake a pie, I love the old Anchor dish's, I gave away all my Tupperware to the second hand store and bought all Anchor Hocking, I hate the plastic lids but love the glass containers.
I hate taking my cat to the vet it is a challenge to get her in the cage then all the howling and crap, it hurts my ears.
I hope you are doing well and hope you have a beautiful rest of the week.

Ok...this was seriously funny. I actually followed what you were saying...it reminds me of the border on that BBD pinroll I did. I did finally find my error....but it was in the very first motif off of which I based everything else, so would have had to essentially rip the entire almost-complete design out....so I thought I would "compensate"....except that meant more compromising when I turned the corner, etc. And the final insult was realizing I had to stitch the thing together so that the two sides of the wonkiest border ever would be side by each. EEEK. But all is well that ends with pie. Looks ribbon worthy. ~Robin~
...oh, and yeah....I live in slipper socks in the winter...but I have to have the double layer type. Despite regular pedicures, the bottoms of my feet are ALWAYS rough. If I wore these, it would be a two-time-and-done kind of thing. Enjoy!
