Procrastinate and you lose! Had these in the cart, did not act immediately, gone like the wind. So what can I do? Locate the multitude of files from my box labels and print. My load of card stock is mostly kraft color, some lighter, so I will get a few sheets of white and have something else to work on and distract me for a while.
These tags come without a hole so you can punch where you'd like for the intended use. Kitten Stitcher of Shakespeare's Peddler offers them, but don't dally!! They sold out quickly and will again.
It's been dark and raining - no - POURING off and on for a week and there is no way we will get the yard in order until fall. Fall? This is mid July and for how swiftly time has passed since this began on March 1, I'm assuming snow will be here shortly. Neighbors have not been able to get the equipment onto their property for the eight foot trenches, I guess we are lucky ours is connected to the new sewers, but that could be debated.

I spent the day yesterday at the hospital. Pulse ox down to 85 and gasping, could not even stay awake. It only takes a small amount of fluid in her lungs to create a problem. Even though monitored, they could not hear it but once in the ER, her doctor did. He's used to her sounds and knew that injected Lasix rather than pills, is required. After sleeping for almost 24 hours, she is able to speak and we can understand her words, great improvement. She will return to the facility on Tuesday and leave at 6am on Thursday for clinic. Long rides back to back on a stretcher have contributed greatly to delirium, we'll see.
Going to visit this evening and she requested something good, so I made individual peach cobblers and ate one, just to make sure it's palatable. Not sweet enough for me but she'll enjoy it.
Even though I have been retiring earlier than my usual midnight (yesterday it was still light), I am doing a row a day. That's a lot less than most stitchers, but with my eye issues, my limit. The next is DMC 356 and I love introducing a brighter row, hopefully tonight. Anxious to return to Lucy Beam but this is so easy for me right now, smaller size, not complicated, continuous color.
Hope your weekend is peachy keen.

Oh my, that is a lot of rain. So sorry that you can't get your yard in order along with everything else. My mom's lasix medication was just increased to every day for a while. It is so hard to regulate. Sometimes IV is the best answer. I hope Carole is okay despite all the moves. Your cross-stitch is looking so pretty. Take care.
Happy to hear that Carole got some relief and return to awareness. That doctor who recognizes her breathing pattern...don't let him out of your sight...Don't know how you
do it, Marly dear, Continued prayers for all of you.
:-( on the rain.... We were there not too very long ago....although it has been dry (and beautiful) this past week (other than a few torrential downpours on Wednesday), the fields are still so wet that farmers are finding it difficult to get into the fields...and it's haying time. I fear it's going to be a stressful harvest...so many crops did not get in when they should have because it was so wet...and now it's wet again. You have such a beautiful yard...all those incredible, mature, trees (and no pines!!) Hope Carole enjoys her cobbler! ~Robin~
Slow and steady wins the race! Being almost 70 myself I'm beginning to see that one row stitched, early to bed, a little online shopping, and an occasional margarita are beneficial. Hoping things get better for Carole and prayers for you!
Well, at least that rain should do a dandy job of settling the dirt where they dug your trench. If it doesn't carry it all off that is. I'm glad they got Carole's fluid situation resolved, and hope the rides don't start the delirium back up. At least she's asking for food, that cobbler looks yummy. It's important to quality check it before giving it to her! The sampler is looking good, and you are getting in far more stitchy time than I have for weeks now - darned weeding steals way too much of my time and energy :-(
I forgot - those thread tags are Gorgeous. I can see why the sell out fast - cool that you have your own images to make some up.
Marly: I hope the rain lets up and it dries out so you can finish that big project.
Nice floss tags, I have heard of people buying comic board and covering the boards with wall paper that stores are getting rid of, may have to try this myself.
Nice progress on your stitching.
What a horrible ride this has been for you both, I hope they can get Carole's health problems under control.
Your cobbler looks yummy.

That's a lot of rain!
Love the tags- they are beautiful.
Hope that the ride back has gone well for Carole and she didn't get a delerium again.
Your sampler is going well and looks great to me.
The link didn't work for me to subscribe again-- it saus that I am already a subscriber... So now I do read your blog throughtthe mail I got from that company not by email anymore...
Take care and sending healing prayers for you both.
Big hug, Truus from Holland
When it rains it pours, Marly. You have had so much "rainy" situations to deal with.
So sorry about your yard and what Carole is going through.
Your peach cobbler looks scrumptious.
My daughter and I spent the weekend in a ditch in my backyard per the counties request.
If we didn't get rid of the bamboo that was coming from the next door neighbor's yard into mine, the county would put a lien on my home and have me pay county men ? to clean it out.
All done now. Will have to keep an eye on it, it is still growing in the yard next door.
Prayers for your week ahead.

I am stunned that you doing an entire row of alphabet in an evening. I'm doing good if I get 4 letters done, 6 on a Very Good Day. And that's wearing a magnifier with a headlamp. You are amazing.
Your sampler is turning out beautiful, sometimes simple is just what's needed. The cobbler looks divine! Hope Carole's delirium is sorted and stops, I can't imagine how hard that is for her and for you. Prayers ascending for all of you, and for a stop to the rain so you can get your yard finished finally!
