Yep. In addition to the severe dryness and sensitivity, I have a macular pucker. Monitoring daily, if or when it worsens, surgery can help.
Another few rows on the project.
Carole is back to delirium, Lasix has not helped, the fluid is not in the lung but behind it and the heart. Oxygen saturation is OK but she can't get her breath so they are treating for anxiety. Hasn't helped, even by injection. This morning, she is not having as many hallucinations but slurring to the point of being unintelligible. When the dilation reduces and I can open my eyes in light, we're going up. I'm relying on spell check to alert me of errors here, a red underline I can see but not letters.

Hi Marly: Those look like pine cones where the squirrels have eaten down to the pine nuts, they bury the nuts for food in the winter (of course everyone knows that but if there is an over abundance it may be an indication of a harsh winter, I hope not, we do not have that problem of squirrels eating so much just yet.
Lovely Sampler.
So sorry you and Carole are having so many problems.
Catherine
Wow...even with your eye issues you stitch a heck of a lot faster than I do. Sorry to hear about the Carole situation. Neither she, nor you, are catching any breaks. Yup...what Catherine said....sign of a hard winter ahead. Brrrrrr.... ~Robin~
Continuing prayers for you and Carole.
Interesting "pine cones" ? Nice for Christmas or as bowl filler.
Take care, hope you'll have a pleasant weekend.
Hugs,

I'll need to brave the deer flies and check out the pine cones on our trees. Usually the squirrels don't touch them. Then again, since we lost one whole walnut, and parts of other nut trees, they might not be so picky this year. I hope it doesn't mean a harsh winter!
I had to go read up on your latest eye issue - yikes, I hope it goes no farther. I so wish Carole could get some relief from her hallucinations and pain, I know you'd also feel huge relief if she did.
And what Robin said... you are stitching much faster than I am, and the only excuse I have is reading far too many blogs instead of stitching. I'm seriously trying to delay stitching 1-over-1 on black 32 count linen. I'm doing a fine job of that so far.
