Switched to 503, may keep the 501 in a few spots of these first rows, but haven't decided.
The bottom area has a good deal of the 500, and I tried subbing 3051 and 3011 as a muted green and didn't believe it would do as well in that section. I'm pleased with this change.
I follow Wyndham needlework on Ebay (here), all of their proceeds go to help felines. I placed orders with them when they were a retail business, they retired and have been selling their inventory and such on EBay since. Lots of Mary Beale including her Pocketbook Needlework, stockings, and a very nice variety here. Older magazines, embroidery publications, lots of charts always being updated. I had not seen these before .... sampler glasses! Twelve ounces.
Monday Monday.
Can't trust that day.

Oh wow! I used to order from Wyndham Needleworks ALL the time. and...I have most (if not all) the Mary Beale pocket Needlework. So many beautiful designs.
What a kind gesture to support the kitties. God knows there are so many neglected. We have a few organizations locally that support and foster the cats surrendered or strays. There is also an active group to capture and spay the ferals.
Your project, as always, looks sweet. Your color sense is spot on.
I trust your color choice...I do, I do. I will have to look Wyndham Needleworks up there...maybe, just maybe, they might have a few of my OOP ISO wish list charts. I doubt it, but it's worth a try. Glad Monday is on its way out the door...but snow and ice on the menu for tomorrow. You just had to send it back to us, didn't ya?? ~Robin~
The sampler glasses are lovely.
Is that something for you to make in the same way you did with the boxes and the threadkeepers?
Take care and stay save, Truus from Holland
You always make great decisions with your color choices, Marly! This is looking so lovely. I've always admired those Mary Beale's stockings, but just know I would never stitch one. Sampler glasses--who knew :) Enjoy today's sunshine--tomorrow looks warmer! ♥
I used to order from them all the time too. I did recently find them on Ebay and bought a few small charts that I wanted. I used to order my favorite needles from them but they don't make them anymore. A very tiny one that was great for over one designs because it slides easily under the stitches in the back. I only have one left and I am taking very good care of it. LOL
Marly, you are the queen of picking just the right colors!! I’m always leery of changing colors. But, you manage to pick just the right ones. Your sampler is off to a good start! We have rain and snow (ugh!) coming our way this week! Cherie in WI
