Hi folks. Our first time waiting in line on hot asphalt in 90 degree temps for a peach. We've heard about the lusciousness of The Peach Truck's bounty, so we jumped on board. Sitting on a counter for three days is the recommendation for juicy ripe fruit. Honestly, I did not expect rock hard light yellow and green peaches. But people that get them every year say they are the absolute best.
Still stitching, not as much as I'd like, the background noise is very upsetting and on my mind. We visited Carole yesterday with cannoli and brioche from .... Walmart. I went in for her Hills Bros and passed the bakery, spotted these small cannoli in a package and oh my, they are wonderful. Five in a pack.
Enjoy your day folks. Hope it's a peach.

You're a peach for sure! I'm anxious to hear how the peaches are. Do you have to wait long for the ripening? It gets hotter every day so I'm glad you have your haul and don't have to wait over the next few days, it's supposed to get even worse. My heart breaks for those without A/C, we are spoiled for sure. Stay well.
Do you like the brioche with chocolate in it from Walmart?! I sure do!
Ahhh...the sight of those peaches remind me so much of my dad. He LOVED peaches. When they were in season, my mom would buy several cases...and we would have peaches and cream at night after the chores. Then my mom would can and can them. I can't remember the last time I've eaten a peach...fresh, with our without cream, canned, or otherwise. ~Robin~
I hope the peaches are as good as others say. Will you eat them fast enough to keep up with them fresh, or are there canned, frozen, or baked goodies in the plans?
I wonder, would hand sanitizer work on the stains? Perhaps there's not enough alchohol in it though. But a dual use item would be nice, one less thing to keep stocked for Carole.
It's probably a good thing my local WM doesn't have the canolli, and I don't think to go to the bakery section of the large one when I get there.
Those peaches look wonderful! I'm ready for peach pie, peach cobbler and anything peach!
We had the Peach Truck from Georgia in the Church parking lot for many
years each Summer, but either retirement or the damnpanic changed all
of that... I spent many an hour filling the jars with those succulent
gems. Fresh peaches and cold watermelon spell Summer and it would not be the Season without them. Yours look wonderful.Bless you for your
loving care of Carole.. so special.
Hello Dear Friend: It's a shame that they do not catch the stains first, but I supposed with so much laundry they have to keep the ball rolling.
Oh my the peach's look so yummy.

We got our peach box back in June. I put up 5 quart size bags of sliced peaches, 3 chopped bags and still had 2 dozen left. We gave a dozen to our neighbor, she always makes goodies and shares with us. I made a peach cobbler and some peach hand pies. I have really enjoyed them. They made the house smell so good when they were ripening on the table. Our cats have enjoyed the box. LOL
