Started on the right side, and thank you - am using one thread on the eyelet.
I found 926 and 927 in the same floss bag. So which have I pulled from? I think the lighter 927. Eye doctor yesterday, he is surprised at the severity of the dryness. Tried a new high water content lens that you do not feel at all in your eye. I wore them twice with hours between, I am bloodshot and very irritated today. My theory which doctors find absurd, is the higher the water content, the less oxygen transmission. My drops do not get beneath or permeate the lens. Proof is in the bloodshot! I need gel in them right now so stitching is on hold.
Can't express how much I am enjoying this stitch station especially the DMC sample book being always at hand.
Enjoy your Friday. Got fish?

Ann is looking great...as are your eyelets (not to be confused with your eyelids apparently 😳) So...how, exactly, does your DMC book fit there?? ~Robin~
Wishing my eyelets are just looking good as yours!
I am so sorry that this doctor isn't helping you with a gel against the dryness of your eyes.
Your help desk for your stitching is great with the hooks and all things at hand.
And yes we had fish on Friday as often.
Have a good weekend and take care,Truus from Holland
Ann is looking good, Marly! Love your stitch station!
Your sampler is looking wonderful, Marly! So sorry the lens didn't help and even made things worse. I can totally relate to the bloodshot and irritated eyes as I have occular rosacea and nothing has helped over the years. Hope your eyes calm down today and you can get some stitching in tomorrow ♥
I like your station. Everything so handy, yet easy to set aside to get out of the chair. I too am wondering how the DMC book is held there.
I'd think any contacts, no matter how watery they are, would keep the medicine from getting where it needs to be. Your theory makes sense to me. In a fish tank they pump air through the water so the water absorbs enough oxygen for the fish. You'd think some genius could figure out how to have the medicine right in the contacts. Like medicine patches worn on the skin, but for the eyes.
Ann is going to be a beauty! I have a modified stitch station, your ideas were very helpful by the way, so sorry about your eyes. I have a fit if an eyelash goes astray! I cannot imagine the irritation you endure and yet still stitch such beautiful pieces.
Went to one of our favorite restaurants after a shopping trip at my favorite quilt store, and it was Friday, so it was fish for us. W-e-l-l, the "traditional" baked fish was anything but. Very disappointing, of course, I came home and made our traditional baked fish. Eating out less and less these days. Cost is astronomical here.
Take care.
