I bought these little tins and the battery tea lights from the dollar store. That little flame light looks like this ...

So I cut waxed paper and lined the tin with a double layer.
Now the entire cutout glows..jpg)

Good idea, the lanterns look much better with the wax paper. I still haven't gotten any Halloween decorations from the attic. Not sure I will this year - why bother for 5 days? Maybe I'll get the generic fall ones down for Thanksgiving.
