words. Many tiny over one words.
I use tent stitch which on 40, to me, makes the letters more readable. A full cross crowds them, but I do use it on ends of letters where a single diagonal thread looks detached. Unnoticeable that there are half and full stitches mixed, and I don't care if it is.
Border is complete - yay!
Haven't decided if the swags will be stitched in the windows. Over two did not look good, must be over one. But I think they are fine as is, there's plenty going on in this piece.
I never heard from the doctor's office and plan to call today. Had a friend read the results, most concerning is the slight tibial fracture at the knee joint extending down the leg. My weight bearing down on it can make it worse, and the shin pain that only started last week tells me it wasn't there from the beginning. The least would be getting the fluid reduced especially in the marrow. I want treatment whether PT, brace, orders, something! Going on six weeks and I need direction since I am making it worse. Yes we have another orthos nearby (three in this office) but a new patient waits months to be seen.
Thinking about the next project, but not excited. Worn down, slump, distractions? We shall see.
Have a good day folks.
Crabass, signing off.

Your sampler is looking fabulous, Marly. Continuing to pray for you as you deal with all this.
Wow, that's a lot of words on the report yesterday. Some of it sounds like maybe normal wear and tear for our age. But lots of it...damage from?? It's not like you went out and played football this spring or something. Can the IT band thing cause all that? Or walking differently due to the band thing? Yes that new shin pain is concerning especially since a fracture was noted. Yes, even if they can't get you in to figure out a treatment, it would be very good to at least know how to not make it worse.
At least Sarah is looking good. I'm not sure I'd have thought to do tent stitches on those letters. Even making the photo bigger, it's hard to see they aren't full crosses.
After all the stuff you've been dealing with the past few years, it's no wonder you are feeling...not excited.
loverly stitches...tent stitch is awesome! such a beautiful sampler indeed.
hoping for some kind of answer for your treatment on that leg! hate how we are at the mercy of dr's and have to wait so long just to be seen for anything!
Wow - gorgeous piece! Thanks for sharing that - it's inspiring. And I hope you have peace ahead for yourself in all that you're dealing with. My best to you.
Wow...that is a LOT of stitching! But my favorites are those teeny, tiny, over one's. It is too bad that you don't have a walk-in/urgent care in one of your ortho facilities. I can't believe they have that report and let you leave without a solution. I had my first injection today... Still not feeling any relief but they said it could be 1-2 days...and more likely a week before full effectiveness. Fingers crossed for you my friend. ~Robin~
That is one beautiful sampler...I cannot believe some professional has not come to your rescue in the midst of your pain and concern. Still holding you in prayer that solutions will be found.
In the meantime, crab-ss to your heart's content...lots of understanding from this end.
Hello Marly: I love this sampler, you choose the prettiest samplers to stitch, your fingers must be smoking you have put in a load of stitche's.
Catherine
I just finished reading the report from your previous post and all I can say is "Wow!" So much is going on with you and I only understood a bit of it. The tibial fracture is indeed concerning. My sister has been dealing with a slight fracture for over a year now. They've done PT, had her on crutches for a while, bone density drugs and then she used one of those roller things that you rest your leg on. In other words, she was supposed to put no weight on it at all. She is back to walking, but not running (which got her the fracture in the first place). I find it shocking that the doctor has not called with a plan of treatment. Hope you got some answers today when you called.
On the positive side, this is one spectacular sampler. I hope you know you can vent to us at any time... Hang in there and I do hope you get some relief very soon ♥
That cross stitching is beautiful.....but, as you know, I too am experiencing issues with my knee and the whole medical mess...so glad you are sharing...thank you, sending hugs and prayers....can't change the email but the best is sharlene_oconnor@yahoo.com
