about the next project, this freebie from Stone Street Stitchworks will be a quick stitch.
Another in this folder is Schoolhouse Primer Lesson 1, very small sweet piece. Is this my working copy and the chart is in the pile, or another freebie from her? I have searched online and haven't seen this 1798 sampler by Mary Graves, or is it not a repro? I do believe it will be next, but you know how that goes.
I stitched the red sampler from BBD (Ooh la la book) on 36 count with flower thread because I wanted a prominent texture, but the heart is on 32 count.
Enjoy your day.

The heart is so sweet. I love the moodiness of the colors. (Of course!) Are both the heart and the sampler you did worked with 1 strand of the flower thread? I still haven't tried it. I requested a sample but never received one. And I am not recalling the Mary Graves sampler. No surprise there. ~Robin~
Greetings marly: They are both lovely designs and freebies at that.
I love a one-color sampler, this one is a sweet one, looking forward to seeing the heart finished.
Hugs
Catherine
Love the heart freebee but I love all kind of hearts and there are many hanging in the house.
The little sampler is beautiful, but on 36 count I cann't stitch.
The heart will be finishhed by now I think-- you are such a quick stitcher despite your eyes.
Have a great day and take care, Truus from Holland
Salma has offered a wonderful assortment of complimentary designs. I have stitched the heart one you are working on and thinking about stitching it again in a different red. Your little red sampler is so pretty.
Such a cute heart. I used Flower Thread a lot in the past, but when I used it recently I did not much care for it. Not sure why.
Thanks for the idea! I just visited the Stone Stree Stitchworks freebie site, I was not familiar with this vendor. Love anything with reds!
I am working on a sampler using flower thread on 32 ct linen and I really love the results. I was able to even stitch the one over one with full crosses.
