Wonk by one!
This is a simple in and out stitch, but a troublemaker. Taking my time, stitch a point, frog a point. But that's so easy to do with satin stitch.
Since frogging this is so simple and to me, a noticeable error, I will correct it. And then miss the correct hole several more times. But eventually, this thankfully not wide row will be completed. Tension is always an issue with my stitches and quite tricky with these long loose satins.
This is the section at my Hobby Lobby that has the 46 count in Cream and Oat colors, also a selection of Aida and others.
I bought another in Oat and lightly sprayed to darken. Warmer tan and very close to my favorite Winter Brew, so I did the other two with the same Rit mix and mottled it darker.

This is looking SOO good! I always find satin stitch to be a bit of a treat... breaks up the repetitive little x's and usually goes quickly. Your HL certainly has a nice selection. I need to get back to ours to see if they've restocked the Bristol. Happy Hump Day! Robin
This little sampler is so nice! I am surprised at the selection of linens at your Hobby Lobby! The last time I went in ours it was essentially nil! I won't even tell you how much I just spent at my favorite shoppe for a few pieces of Aida! Off to Hobby Lobby I go! Thanks.
One of these days I need to go to HL and actually look around. The rare time I go, I am in and out in minutes.
Love the color you stained the fabric. Can you share which color Rit Dye you used and how much?
I've used the HobLob linen and am pleased with it. Wish they carried more!
I just bought several of these for new projects...never bought it before from there. Hope it works good for me being a novice.
