A comfort stitch, Finish #4

Hi folks.  Apologies for my rant yesterday that I removed.  Explanation.....

The Dr. that I heard over the phone and had to deal with (since my pcp ignored abnormal lab results), was Carole's.  It triggered my emotions and recalled my disgust of his attitude toward her and callous disregard of her feelings in her final week.  Triggered is too gentle a term.

His arrogance also refused to order the specific form of the medication I need to combat this since I cannot swallow capsules.  He is not happy, but my pharmacist called him on it.  I have what I need now.

The ER .... my hospital that closed is currently trying to reopen. Cardiology called me this morning that they can see patients again.  The practice is now under a hospital two hours from here, but stays in its current location.  We have two urgent care offices and another hospital at capacity with their patients.  New/transfers to this facility wait months, and no prior tests/reports from the other are accepted.

So it seems by spring, these issues will be resolved.

Comfort stitch.  This little heart that is complimentary from Stone Street Stitchworks, is perfect.  It looks best (to me) with a lower count linen and flower thread or two dmc.  Simple to follow, easy to see, no color changes.  Worked this last night on 32 count 2 over 2.  What a delightful change from 40 count, and truly without stress.  Should I try one thread on 40 for a very tiny finish?

Sorry for all the blah blah blah rants.  I was just so raw.

Have a sweet day.

Thankfully you have a pharmacist who understands what you needed. Praying the hospital issues will soon be over and you can get the care you need.

I'm so relieved to hear that you got the capsule form of med you need. Kudos to your pharmacist. There's no way one of the pharmacists where I go would ever do that. Now fingers crossed it does the trick. What a mess with the hospital, but I'm glad to hear there is hope on the horizon? ~Robin~ (And that heart is just precious....❤️❤️❤️)

So sorry to read of the bad diagnose with Meniere and the trouble with doctor you had on the phone-- a big hug to you.💞
Didn't get some of your blogs so had to read a few back...don't know why,but here you are back again in my mailbox.
Love the heart-- have the chart too-- and a smaller one would be great but not pretty to stitch for your eyes I think.
Take care, Truus from Holland

I have no (publishable) words on that doctor's attitude. Glad you got the meds straightened out - Yay for the pharmacist. Also good that your cardiologist and hospital will be back.
Sweet little heart in any size.

Marly, you have every right to be upset and rant. Glad the pharmacist had your back! What a darling heart! I stitched it a few years ago and when I see it now, I think I should stitch a few more in various shades of red. Thinking of you!

You deserve to have an uber rant...that doctor sounds like a creature from the darkest cave.... You pharmacist sounds like an angelic answer to prayer. So
glad that all got resolved. Hopefully, this extreme Winter will open to a glorious Spring and you can get many concerns settled at last. You have been more than patient. Just love the heart. Take care, keep warm.

No need to apologize. I would have been mad as hell myself. Glad it all got straightened out. Love the freebie heart! Janice

No apologies necessary. This should be a judgement free zone. Sometimes we all need to vent and better on fellow stitchers than on friends and family. Nice little comfort stitch. R

Vent away, Marly! I'm glad you at least have a caring pharmacist to watch out for you. So sorry you have what sounds like a doctor with no bedside manner on your case--ugh! Keep up with these small bits of comfort stitching --they really do help. ♥

Hello marly: I am so happy to hear they are opening again for cardiology, I do hope you find a more understanding doctor, sadly both you and Carole have had a bad run with the healthcare system, I hope they get a manager that is respectful and better then the last.
Love this heart so pretty.

Catherine
