Humbug to heart

I just could not warm up to that little humbug.  I removed the beads, restitched the seams, but nothing was mellowing the crabass.

A little rectangular pincushion was an option, but I thought aggravated frustration would make a fun finish.

Knob hanger...

Or Spot's accoutrement.

On to the next project.

A big THANK YOU for the info on the fabric shop in Canfield.  Less than an hour from home, looks like a great place.  Will be visiting soon!

Sweatshirts and pants, jackets, furnace and blankets.  The rain and downpours are relentless, the mosquitoes are unmerciful.  All make a crabass pinch harder.  But!  The Honeymooners are on the Me TV channel's lineup starting next week.  Ralph is back!

Be safe!

Marly, add my unsolicited approval to the little hearts makeover. Much, much better as a little pincushion doorhanger! The original finish, while having good intentions, unfortunately had no real visual appeal. You do have a very good eye for colors, form, and finish.

Brilliant!! Just brilliant! I love it!! And - wow! It looks absolutely wonderful with Spot! Cold, damp, and windy here too...too cold and windy for mosquitoes. I guess there are silver linings in the clouds in Nod.

While I liked the humbug, I really love the heart finish, Marly. Well done! Have a peaceful weekend.

Gorgeous finish and goes so well with Spot! Love it. Cold here too. Heat was on this morning while I took a shower. At least the rain has stopped but it is still grey and damp out. Not a typical Memorial Day weekend at all!

That heart was meant to be, Marly, and it looks perfect with Spot. Oh, this rain :( The sun is finally shining as of noon--hope it stays for the weekend. We've been away helping with the new baby and are way behind on anything outdoor related. Enjoy your weekend!
