Mary

Happy weekend to you.   Thank you all for the comments on my Mary Haslehurst.  Here she is fulled dressed.

A few changes to the original chart, and I'm so glad I decided to stitch this design.  It's not very large and I did enjoy learning these other stitches.   I will certainly keep using Needle 'n Thread's videos and I'm grateful for the help she has offered with these tutorials.  I only found one area that needed my muslin patch on the back.
I was also working on the St. Clare tags in addition to a few other designs.

I will post tomorrow about purchasing.

This is what I woke up to today.  The brats have a little food shelter to keep it dry and the plastic covered box next to it is the holding box.  When they want more food, they stay in the box and look into the house until I bring more out.
Needless to say I'm not happy, but it will all be ending soon and if white crap is all I have to be upset about, I'm a very lucky gal.  Today will start the search for the next chart.  I'll be boring you with photos of them again, because things become more clear to me when I do a post.
Enjoy your weekend and stay safe!!  Happy St. Patrick's day to all that celebrate!
Thank you for visiting!

Wow! Mary is gorgeous!
Cute kitties too, poor things. Looks too cold for me and unfortunately I am in By-God-West-Virginny right now headed that way. Going to North Jersey actually but I hope we won't see snow.

Splendid ... You have such tenacity and Mary is beautiful. Oh poor Kitties they are so precious.
BTW it will be 83 here today LOL. Yeah, I have a mean streak.
The tags are looking like they will be ready 'For Sale' soon, and I will keep watch.

Peace & Blessings,
Barb

Congratulations on another beautiful finish! I need to get over my specialty stitches phobia sometime, but I am not confident enough in my ability to make good chart changes so maybe not yet :) I LOVE the St. Clare tags. I think I need her watching over my stitching-only divine intervention could keep me going on some projects *lol*

Beautiful finish Marly -- the sampler is gorgeous! And the tags...sigh...hope they go on sale soon. Little kitties look so chilly. We are having snow as well...

How beautiful!
I hope you'll be soon finished with snow. I always felt that one or two snowfalls in December would be more than enough! Any more was like punishment!

Marly, I'm so glad you decided to take on Ms Mary. She's such an eye catcher! You've done a beautiful job with her borders.

I'm also so intrigued with the St Calre tags too. Is she the patron saint of needleworkers?

Fabulous Marly, it is nice to have a change in handwork now and then. Although you seemed to have a lot of problems, it certainly doesn't look like it!
Your scenery is so wonderful, although it should have been in December!
Have a lovely weekend:)

Mary is just beautiful. I think you challenged yourself with that one! So sorry about the snow. About this time of year, it ceases to be even pretty!

Wow... what a finish!! Love it! We had snow all day today, too, but fortunately it didn't stick.... I'm done with the white stuff, as well.... it was nice, but now it's time to move on to springtime!
Kitties are so cute... Funny how they let you know they're out of food!
Looking forward to seeing what your next project will be!

You should be so, so proud of this finish, Marly--really stunning!! I'm glad you stuck with it and gave Mary all those extra chances--it paid off in the end.

I can't believe you got more snow! We missed it, thank goodness, but the forecast for the week looks like we'll be getting some (and highs are only in the 30s!!).

Mary turned out lovely. I love the look of all the special stitches. I am usually too conservative to try samplers like these. You do inspire.
