Just like a potato chip...

you can't stop at one.  Hiya!  Just finished this little guy and now have the Santa bug.

This is from Old World Santas II,  Prairie Schooler book #88.

And here's stray #4 - Squeaky.  He doesn't meow, he squeaks.

Another dirt roller.

I can't touch him but he rolls for me and cries.  Bud has really laid into him several times and I'm not sure if it will stop, but he seems to be tolerating him.  Sometimes.
Have a great week.  Thanks for visiting!

I love your kitties. We adopted two last year and the little male's name (before we adopted them) was Squeaker. He still squeaks and he's fourteen months old. He sounds so cute. We changed his name to Sheldon. We enjoy the Big Bang Theory on TV. There is a Sheldon on that show. We named our little girl kitty Pippa..
I'm working on the same Santa that you finished. He's really nice. You work a lot faster than I do. I know what you mean about stitching them being addicting.
I'm looking forward to seeing how you finish your Santas.
Have fun stitching.

Hi, Marly,
Love your Santa, I want to get started on some Prairie Schooler wants. Hope Squeaky is not a female, let only a pregnant female! Thats how I ended up with my five kittens!!! I couldn't get the mother to check for sex, then suddenly she wasn't quite so skinny, then bingo!!
Five kittens!

So happy to hear I don't have the only dirt rollers. It drives me crazy because after a roll in the red Georgia clay, they all turn a orangish hue especially the black cats.

Love your Santa! Isn't it funny how each cat has his or her own unique meow or squeak or whatever? I love it!

Ah...one of my favorite PS Santas! I think I've stitched him at least three times--finally kept the last one for myself :) And I agree, you can't stop at just one!
