The snowstorm has begun.
When will it be finished?
Not until sometime Monday, long after this finish which will be today.
Several emails about the cabbage and sausage soup so I posted it to the recipe blog here.
I can't get reservations at the ridiculously expensive (to me) hotel attached to Cleveland Clinic by a walkway for the end of February-they're booked. I won't have a car. Not only am I a wimp in traffic, if I got lost here looking for the Ford dealer can you imagine where I will end up if driving in downtown Cleveland! Buffalo? Chicago?
Stay safe.

Always love your stitching. Envy your snow but
always worry about people having to drive in it.
Sorry to be a killjoy about the knee but I also
had an injury with a torn meniscus. Well…….
the loose piece got caught in the "hinge" and
I had to hop on one foot to my car. Couldn't
put my leg down so you probably should do
what they tell you to do. Good luck. Julia
Your "Abe" house and garden is looking great..
I'm glad you have reservations close to the CC.. Want you to be safe while you're there..
Please send some measurable snow my way.. My family and I really feel cheated this winter.. Want to make your cabbage soup.. Sounds delicious..

Stay safe, Marly! I enjoyed the six inches we had last week but looks as we will only get rain out of this system in Kentucky. Love your stitching and your kitties!
I love that the other commenters would like some of our Western Pa snow! Oh Dear Stitchers, give me an address and I will send it right on. The Abe house is perfect. Stay warm.
I just love that piece you are stitching. I will have to contact Carol for it. So cute!
Stay warm! Hope the storm stops soon for you guys.
The colors in your "Abe" are just perfect... love it! We are waiting on the snow storm here in NY... should start later on tonight. If it must snow, I really would prefer it on a weekend... This weekday stuff just makes everyone crazy!! Stay safe and warm!
It's here too :(
Such a sweet, little sampler, Marly.
I'd offer you a place to stay, but I'm about 45 minutes west of the Clinic so who knows where you'd end up...lol!
Snowing like crazy here, too. UGH! I hate it.
Hugs :)
Lauren
Lovely stitchery. Do take care and keep warm, hope you can sort something out for the end of February.
Love your latest prim project! Isn't it funny how everyone who has snow doesn't want it and everyone who doesn't, does want it? I guess the snow is always prettier on the other side of the fence. What's been coming down here since last night is wet, heavy "heart attack" snow, and I just want it to be gone. You stay safe, too, Marly.
I hope that you stay snug and warm. I love this small sampler.
Abe is looking good, Marly! Stay warm and please redirect your snow to Virginia.

Love the cat photo!!I hope all goes well on your trip to Cleveland! Stay safe!
Aww, I am guessing that is Bud? =)
Our snowstorm will stop sometime tomorrow morning. It is crazy windy out there.
I LOVE the pink house. I am scared of the color change you are going to do to it. I KNOW you will. ;)
Try calling the clinic and ask if they have shuttle service to and from any local hotels. Or what they can recommend close by that won't kill you in cab fares.
Snowing here too. Stay warm and safe.
Can't wait to see what happens next to little Miss Anna!
Great minds think alike Marly - I made a batch of the same Italian sausage soup just last night. Tastes great on a cool night, even without the snow.
Thanks for sharing!
I sure hope you find a place to stay!
I hope you can find a place to stay for your sister's surgery. What a bummer! I'm dreading this storm -- they are calling for snow and significant icing for us. Please let us keep our power! Have to check out that soup recipe now. Yum!
I love the photo of the cat looking out the window : ) Keeping sister ... & you ... in my prayers.
Love that pink house! What a perfect little sampler...I should stitch it for my own Elizabeth Anne who loves all things pink. I hope you can find a place to stay while your sister is being treated at the clinic. Do they have a wait list? We always stay at Marriotts while we are traveling. Residence Inns and Courtyards are usually very good and reasonably priced. Good luck!
Have a great week,
Robyn
Love this little piece..
By now--I haven't peeked--you have finished Anna... and I am sure it is perfect! I hope you can find suitable close lodgings for your stay while your sister has her procedure done. It's early--keep trying other places and check back for cancellations at the convenient place. It could happen. Hugs!
