leaving out some noodles for a snack
I really appreciate your tips. I'm going to try the sizing that Marilyn mentioned, will decide if color or count are more important as a few of you pointed out, and dream about having a system like Jeanne. But not until I devour the kugel (recipe here).
My little sweet raccoon (Budette) is failing fast. She is having trouble walking, still coming for food, and we know she is old and her end is near. So sad. She is just so cute and docile. My brother has a blind groundhog that has lived under a neighbor's shed for two years. He made it through winter and is terribly thin. When he hears Ron he will run toward the footsteps and hit into him. He is enjoying carrots and greens and apples but he has to have the food in a pile for the critter to bump into or he can't find it. A roaming pit bull was pushing him from behind with his nose and Ron went out to scare him away. Some dogs will kill groundhogs but he didn't.
Appointments for myself and Carole every day the rest of the week.
The sun is starting to come out so I'm going outside to sink into the mud.
Have a great day!
Thanks for reading a boring post.

Hi Marly,
That Kugel looks and sounds so yummy! Might have to give it a try!
Glad you got some good tips for your linen! We all have systems that work for us, so hoping one will be just right!
Poor Budette! So happy she can still eat something!
The story of the groundhog is so cute too! Happy the dog did not hurt him!
Hope all of your appointments go well!
I just looked at my beautiful heart from you and it made me smile!!
Enjoy your day!
Warm Hugs~

Your posts are never boring... I always enjoy reading about what's happening with you and your furry friends! Poor Budette...glad she is eating, and hoping for a peaceful end when the time comes for her.... Cute story about your brother and the groundhog...hope your brother is able to fatten him up! And glad the dog left him alone....
Hoping for good appts. for both you and your sister this week!
Your kugel recipe sounds delicious====like dessert.
I know little Buddette has had very good treatment at your house. I don't like to think about animals of any kind getting old and not being around any more.
You and your brother are such warm hearted folks to take care of kitties and wild animals the way you do.
I hope you and Carole are feeling well and the appointments are just minor doctor visits.

I hope your linen organizing is successful. My organizational skills leave much to be desired.

Yummy! That kugel looks divine!
Poor, sweet raccoon--so very sad--but you have been so good and helpful to her! Life can be sad....
I hope all the appointments go well for both of you!
Not boring at all. You always have interesting things to say! Poor little racoon.
Mmmm! That dish looks tasty!!
The raccoon is so sweet, poor little thing
Have a good day
I hope your appointments come out in your favors.
We had a pet raccoon many years ago she was with us for many years,I miss Tiki so much.
We cook up noodles and then fry them in butter till they get just a little crunchy on the edges, I would eat that over chocolate.
Blessings
Catherine
Oh, I am so happy to see Budette! And I am going to try the kugel recipe. Thank you for sharing it.
Good morning Marley
I have never had Kugel but it sounds wonderful and looks even better.
Like you I always make 'extra' noodles for snacking or lunch. Lots of butter melted over them! Yummmm.
Oh your sweet little raccoon - so darned cute. Glad you are helping him in his last days.
Blessings

Oh my - that recipe made me want to go cook it right now! I'm currently at a mission eating in the cafeteria which is okay but nothing like Kugel! blessings, marlene
Glad you are taking care of the raccoon; she is so cute! Hope you have a good week. Blessings.............
Hope all the appointments go well for you both. Poor raccoon. Poor groundhog too.
So nice that you and also your brother care for the wild animals that frequent your property. Sometimes we humans have to insert ourselves into their space to help them. I have two appointments and he has one more this month, and then we are free! Free!! Phew!
So enjoy reading your blogs. Never boring......you have a gift. So sorry to hear about sweet, little Budette. Getting older is not kind to any of us. Teary thinking of that precious animal. Do you have anywhere you can make a bed for her?.......listen to me. I know she is a "wild" anima. We live in the mountains in Southern California.......have lots of love for God's creatures.
Hope you will be feeling well soon! Leanne
It's so nice reading your posts about Polish foods and traditions. As my family is Polish. At Christmastime do you do the 12 foods where you have to eat a bite of at least 12 things.I would love to hear about some more of your Polish traditions
